Hot Water Prep and Preshave = Palmolive Shave cream
Cream/Soap = Stirling Bergamot Lavender
Brush = Semogue Galahad C3 Premium Boar
Bowl = white plastic
Razor = Gillette Nacet / 7 o’clock OC
Blade = Henckel (4)
Passes = 2 +
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayer’s rose petal, TOBS Royal Forest
ASL = Fine Latigo
Scent = Santal Spirit Sandalwood

Superbly smooth shave from the Gillette Nacet. A bit worn here and there but fine shaver.
Day 4 on the Henckel was dulling a bit, but still provided the necessary smoothness
Binned anyway just to be on the safe side

Back in the day I've heard it was hot stuff.

 

Here was my Tuesday shave:

Brush-Stoylin mid-sized Synthetic

No other changes from yesterday.

Again, a fine shave. No issues of negativity. Clean, clear all over with that Razorock XXX soap(I think I didn't mention earlier that it's XXX-maybe a long time ago). I had to re-load the brush for my second pass. although a little less than for the first pass. Another thing about the soap, it does go on drier than others-perhaps due to the long time period between uses. Doesn't affect the strength much, just something to be aware of. Good close from the Stephan Bay Rum A.S. Super Duper Outstanding.

 

Great shave Gary. I'm on the Henrix mailing list-that Forge looks good.

 

I'd say they BOTH are...."it" and the babe.

Great setup and shave. I have used Razorock in the past and found their soaps slick, however, they don't produce a Santa Claus lather. I really didn't have any real issues with that brand.
