It’s a real miracle or a fluke that I didn’t cut myself all over because I had to rush through this shave - my brother-in-law and sister-in-law are leaving for Miami for two weeks so I had to drive them to the airport. The Gada Cool Mint cream from Lebanon is so cheap but it’s so FANTASTIC - its lemony/minty scent is so nice, just a small amount gives awesome lather, it’s very cooling, and it’s so soothing because it also contains chamomile. The Boomslang 3 balm gives a STRONG menthol sensation as well as lots of moisturizing, and the Aqua Velva aftershave went on with a good chilly punch. Two passes were all I had but I still ended up BBS with no issues - a great shave!

For today’s shave I went with an Ariana & Evans scent to show support for Peter and the family. It is also my first use of my new Guerrilla Aluminum razor and first use of my Runeman Nordic Shave Design badger/boar hybrid brush!

Life is definitely exciting! Throwing curve balls at you and at times life loses control and that curve plunks you. Well Ariana & Evans got plunked with a curve the other day. Terrible news for many reasons. The biggest being how great a person Peter is and how great a company he runs. They are always stepping up to donate their time and products for a good cause. They care not only about their customers but about people. From being environmentally conscious to donating to fundraisers. Let’s be there for people who are there for us. I went with one of my favorite scents from A&E The Big Top. The scent notes are perfect:

Citrus-Cotton Candy-Honeysuckle-Amber-Caramel Popcorn-Earth-Pralines-Sandalwood-Cedarwood

On a day that has turned into sunshine from a cloudy morning this set fits the bill perfect. As the set invokes childhood memories of piece of cotton candy and cracker jacks to me. Thank you Peter for always bringing the memories forth with your wonderful scents! We are all pulling for Ariana & Evans and the family!

So today I finally got to a razor that I received from Guerrilla about a month ago. I have obtained a bunch a new razors and it was not the Guerrilla’s turn. And wow! This immediately goes up with the Alpha Shave Dad/Lonestar as my favorite aluminum razor. I will have to do a head to head at some point between them. The efficiency is absolutely amazing. I used the dual comb for this first shave. My dual comb plate is a .69 gap. A lot of blade feel, which for me is awesome! The OC side could have given me a head hair trim is sliced so easily through my stubble. And the SB side was as efficient just a little more tame. I used a Filoso blade having never used the razor previously and knowing this blade is pretty safe in anything. I can’t wait to shave again. This time break out the .99 plate!!! This razor is fantastic!

It was also my first use of the Runeman Nordic Shave Design brush. Pictures cannot in any way do the colors on this any justice. The knot is a badger/boar hybrid. Amazing knot! Cant wait to get an another shave in with this either!

All in all an amazing tribute shave! Using a razor that I can tell will be one of my favorites, a brush that will also be one, and a set that has been one of my favorites! Here is to Ariana & Evans and to this community we all are a part of!

A new eclectic shave set up to start the Weekend..

As always the monsavon soap provided a luxurious protective slick lather...The monsavon au lait has to be one my favourite shaving soap to date. It's slick, protective and the post shave feeling it gives is superb making each shave a enjoyable pleasurable experience.

Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.
