    Well, the battle scar would be a bonus then Barry. Even though it wasn't obtained fighting pirates and rescuing damsels Lol!
    The conkers thing seems to be very British. Never did make to my childhood. Yo-yo's, dingbats and pellet guns were all the craze back then. Happily I never did manage to fall out of any trees :)

    That's a classy set up Gary. Cool stuff

    Nice error free shave Joe. Lavendar and all

    Thanks Joe. No, I don't believe I have. I do have the Nacets and haven't used this razor much apart from the last weeks' mini-focus with it. I do appreciate the Nacet blades though.

    Lovely
    Nice angle on that short handle on the Tuckaway
    Great inaugural shave with your new toy!

    Great result Barry. Another error free shave

    Great w/e shave, that reminds me to dig out the Maca again some time

    Hope you had a great evening Joe. Bringing out the Tsuka again. I keep looking to see if they have re-introduced it, but no, not so far.

    Sunday 18 May 2025

    Continuing with this mini focus, trying to finish the Bergamot and Lavender
    So far the setup has worked well on 2 day's growth, so today I decided to continue with it, but on a one day growth

    1 Days growth

    Same software as before
    Razor = Gillette Nacet / 7 o’clock OC
    Blade = Super Iridium(4)
    Passes = 2 +
    No damage shave (no damage for the month yet, but to fair I haven't shaved every day)

    Same setup in this mini focus with the Nacet + Wizamet
    I don’t usually keep my blades beyond day 4 but I will give this on another try, it may have life left in it
    Great result overall BBS one way and some BBS both way
    Back of the neck all cleaned up
    Hair product and Tin-Tin peak: all set for the day Lol!

    Have a great Sunday one and all

    thank you Chris.yes,the norfolk/tuckaway shave was exellent,quite aggressive,i used a german wilkie from the drug store to test all new razors.gummy face shave,a couple of weepers actually,went away with the cold rinse.funnily enough my canadian new deluxe razor didn't produce any weepers,maybe this one with the shorter tuckaway handle changed the shaving angle a bit.;):eatdrink047:

    Thanks Gary. Had a quick scan of those those, esp @GlennConti thread. Even if I did an in depth read I would not understand the detail, but do get the broad concept of capitalism at play. Either way we some great razors to play with as a result :)

    Might want to do a mini-focus with the tuckaway for a while Gary ;) ? Could be many reasons though. All part of the interest that this hobby brings

    Thanks. I am less phased by the more aggressive OC lately, but still find they work best on 2 or 3 days' growth, for me anyway.

    Today's shave turned out to be OK. I decided to sneak in a choice I hadn't done in quite a while. I used my RegimentGear soap(thanks for the PIF, Charlie)-Top Gun, which is a clone of Drakkar Noir,famous in the 1980's. Clean&clesr all the way. No damage. 2 passes, but with my Badger brush I could have easily done 3. Closed out with Yardley of London, which is very close to being gone. I recall really liking Yardley back in my early shaving days. Not as much now, but it's OK. The Regiment soap still has a good way to go yet. Most Outstanding.
