It’s been a while since I used the VGH stuff - although it’s not as good as Tabac I would say it’s my second favourite commercial soap. The scent is so nice, it lathers so fantastically, and it’s very skin friendly. The matching balm has the same lovely scent as the soap, it’s very moisturizing as well as soothing, and it has a bit of a menthol sensation. The aftershave spray is no longer available unfortunately so I don’t use it too often these days. Finally the Oscar de la Renta fragrance which smells great and I’m good to go. Another tip top three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!

Noble Otter Northern Elixir AS Splash

Although I’m not a big fan of glycerine soaps overall I must say that the ones from Bundubeard as well as a few others are exceptions. This Impi has a very nice coffee/fruity scent, it gives great lather, it’s fairly mentholated, and it leaves a very comfortable postshave feeling. The Boomslang balm is so soothing as well as moisturizing and it has a lot of menthol in it - what a nice scent it has. Finally the Northern Elixir aftershave went on icy cold - the scent is a mix of peppermint and eucalyptus - really nice. Three passes gave me a tremendous BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!

The Williams Mug Shave Soap lathered well with Frank Shaving Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply SE Injector Razor and the Supply Black Label Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Derby City Chop Shop Winter Reserve After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
