The soap delivered tons of awesome lather, the menthol sensation felt killer cold, and it left a soothed, super comfortable postshave feeling. The Stoffel balm from Bundubeard doesn’t lack menthol either and it’s wonderful in the skincare department. Finally the Glacial Frozen Tuxedo aftershave went on frigidly cold along with its dynamic scent that I love so much. Menthol Monday’s Nuclear Grand Freeze: Hot shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Goodfella/new Wilkinson Stirling Glacial Iceberg Island SS Diana Menthol Balm Stirling Glacial Iceberg Island AS Splash Oyyyyyyyyy my face is so bloody frozen - the Glacial Iceberg Island soap and aftershave as well as the Diana balm did a helluva number on me. The scent of this soap and aftershave is so BEAUTIFUL, the way it lathers is amazing, there’s so much slickness like all of Rod’s soaps, the menthol sensation can knock a polar bear on his tukhis, and it’s so skin friendly. The Diana balm from Austria is unscented so it doesn’t disrupt the lovely scent, it’s frigidly cold, and it’s so moisturizing as well as soothing. Finally the Glacial Iceberg Island aftershave went on with a killer cold menthol kick and the scent has great longevity. Menthol Monday’s Monstrous Grand Freeze: Hot shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Goodfella/Wilkinson day 8 Stirling Glacial Cedar SS Bundubeard Stoffel ASB Stirling Glacial Cedar AS Splash Davidoff Cool Water EdT Bone chilling would be an understatement the way this setup is - a better description would be LETHALLY cold. The Glacial Cedar soap and aftershave smell so beautiful, there seems to be trace of lemon or lime along with the cedar, the soap’s tallow formula provides superb lather with so much slickness, the menthol sensation pounds your face relentlessly, and the postshave feeling is A1. The Stoffel balm is another menthol atom bomb that’s so moisturizing and soothing, not to mention how frigid the Glacial Cedar aftershave is. Finally the Cool Water fragrance which is pretty darned nice and I’m good to go. Three passes gave me a most delightful BBS shave - everything is in perfect order! Saturday morning - almost a Grand Freeze: Hot shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Goodfella/new Bic Stirling Frozen Tundra SS Nip Man ASB Floid Vigoroso AS Splash Do I ever love this Frozen Tundra soap - it’s the second coldest after the Glacials. The scent is awesome - it’s minty, earthy with wintergreen notes, it provides thick, rich, super slick lather, it has a lulu of a menthol sensation, and it gives wonderful postshave care. The Nip Man balm from the UK has a very nice minty scent not to mention how cooling and moisturizing it is while the Floid Vigoroso aftershave has that gorgeous old school European barbershop scent that rocks my world and a boatload of icy menthol. I’m sort of on the fence about these Bic blades - this new one helped me get a most enjoyable three pass BBS shave so for now, no complaints. Have a great day - be well and stay safe! Menthol Monday’s Heavy Duty Grand Freeze: Hot shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Junjie/Bic day 3 Stirling Glacial Mango Sunrise SS Bundubeard Stoffel ASB Noble Otter Northern Elixir AS Splash This morning I transplanted the Bic blade into my cheap Junjie razor just to experiment and it seemed to work very well. Truthfully this Glacial Mango Sunrise soap is so wonderful - the scent is absolutely gorgeous, the lather is magnificent - not only is it so thick and rich, it’s so slick as well as protective, the menthol sensation is LETHAL, and it’s chock full of skincare. The Stoffel balm added to the soothing and freezing while the Northern Elixir aftershave went on frigidly cold along with its nice peppermint/eucalyptus scent. The Glacial Frozen Tuxedo’s scent is so delightful, the soap is a lather champion, the slickness is wonderful, the menthol sensation is so bone chilling, and the skincare is numero uno. The Diana balm is icy cold with great moisturizing, and the Glacial Frozen Tuxedo aftershave can leave your face almost numb from its menthol kick. The matching balm and witch hazel put plenty of soothing icicles in my face. Finally the Fahrenheit fragrance and I’m good to go. The Northern Elixir aftershave is another menthol atom bomb - heaven help anyone who can’t handle it. The Glacial Iceberg Island soap and aftershave have such a MAGNIFICENT scent which is an exact copy of Virgin Island Water from Creed. The soap lathers like a champ, it’s so damned slick, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the postshave feeling is wonderful like ALL of Rod’s products. The Stoffel balm is another South African treasure, and the Glacial Iceberg Island aftershave went on frigidly cold along with its delightful scent that lasts for most of the day. Sunday morning’s Atomic Grand Freeze: Hot shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 8 Stirling Glacial Spearmint SS Stirling Glacial Spearmint ASB MSC Frosted Spearmint AS Spray Acqua di Selva Cologne To call this shave frigid would still be an understatement because truthfully and honestly it was borderline painful but I LOVE that sensation. The Glacial Spearmint soap has such a beautiful scent that filled my bathroom, the lather is absolutely FABULOUS, the menthol blast hits you immediately, each pass makes it feel stronger, and the postshave feeling is numero uno. The matching balm has the same scent as well as a helluva strong menthol kick along with so much moisturizing and soothing while the Frosted Spearmint aftershave from MSC is not only colder than the Arctique from Barrister & Mann, it smells exactly like the Glacial Spearmint. Finally the Acqua di Selva cologne which has a lovely minty scent and I’m good to go. Another dynamite three pass BBS shave that was sheer delight and pleasure! The Stoffel balm is extremely moisturizing as well as soothing, it’s another menthol atom bomb, and the Glacial Frozen Tuxedo aftershave is lethally cold - its scent is a delight. Finally the Cool Water fragrance somehow pairs nicely with the scent of this soap and aftershave. Another three pass work of art of a BBS shave - what a pleasure it was!
