    fine arko lather built in the ww2 era lancaster scuttle with the rubberset 400
    smooth 2 passer with the 1947 ish brit tech hybrid,minor pickups
    whiskey woods aftershave to finish

    A great shave on this Memorial Day. A minute at the Loading Dock. Clean and clear shave. No damage. 2 healthy passes. Trying to decide about using IKE during the summer. Maybe one time, to see how I feel.It's a classic, no doubt. As Outstanding As It Gets. :)

    Aaand...a segue into today's shave(Tues.) I has the Chiseled Face Groomatorium SHERLOCK soap&A.S. combination. The brush was the Stoylin 26 mm. Pro Handle synthetic. The moss&dirt somehow blends in really nicely with the tobacco, leather, and pepper. I think this is a go for summer. A minute at the loading dock. A lovely shave followed. Zero damage. Great close from the aftershave. After finishing SHERLOCK, I wonder if I'll reorder or try a different Chiseled Face. I still have that tiny soap amount of Midnight Stag someone sent me. But plenty left of Sherlock for now. As Outstanding As It Gets.

    I have been getting lazy by postponing shaves this month. In the words of Lou Costello, " I am a bad boy." LOL! Anyway, I just decided to pick this setup for a quick autopilot shave. Two error-free passes gave me a close and comfortable shave. The alum feedback was non-existent. Splashed on that wonderful old-time barbershop aftershave and I am good to go. I promise that I will read and comment on all your shaves over the last few days. Tomorrow, I will do a headshave. I probably will pick out one of my Rockwell razors. Take care.
