Great setups, pics, reports and shaves for both Sunday the start of the week and the start of the month! Well done, gents!

My own first shave will be early tomorrow morning.

I was going to do a "serious" Menthol Monday" shave this morning, but then I saw that the weather isn't quite right for it. I know, I know, it will be SOON. Anyway, this was the lineuep:

    prep-Nivea 4 Men Bodywash(in shower)*
    lather-Hub City Soaps-"Pages"
    brush-Stoylin "li'l brudder" synthetic
    razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot DisposeABLE
    A.S.-Hub City Soaps-"Pages".
    *-
My face has really cone to like the Nivea bodywash(course the same goes for Cactus Nation). Nivea might be my summer shave prep.
I made a good choice-with "Pages" I don't feel like I just lit my face on fire, but I didn't freeze it, either. I was wondering how I'd do on the loading persuasion, as the soap amount is beginning to wind down, but I ended up being quite surprised at the amount that found its way onto the brush. Great shave all around. No problems. I'm not as pleased with the Pages scent as I wanted to be, but it sure knocks out the whiskers in fine fashion. I'll get another West Texas when the Pages runs out. 2 healthy passses. Fine close from the A.S. I'd like to see the Lubbock(TX)family who owns Hub City to increase their product persuasion in the future. As Outstanding As It Gets.

I've always found it interesting that many aftershaves say "cooling" on the bottle, but some of them are much "cooler" than others. For instance, you have Aqua Velva and Clubman in this category, but AV is quite "cooler" than Clubman.

Awesome shave Gary. Are you saying it's better than the Indian version of Old Spice? I am intrigued.

A fine shave! I like the tie-in with the razor to your birth year.

Nice pic, Gary! And a nice pick for June too -- I doubt anyone ever went wrong choosing a Gillette Tech as their daily driver.

Yes. But then I last shaved on May 21 - so I was shaving a 12-day growth again today. A "short beard"...
