Menthol Monday’s Heavy Duty Grand Freeze: Hot shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Junjie/Bic day 3 Stirling Glacial Mango Sunrise SS Bundubeard Stoffel ASB Noble Otter Northern Elixir AS Splash This morning I transplanted the Bic blade into my cheap Junjie razor just to experiment and it seemed to work very well. Truthfully this Glacial Mango Sunrise soap is so wonderful - the scent is absolutely gorgeous, the lather is magnificent - not only is it so thick and rich, it’s so slick as well as protective, the menthol sensation is LETHAL, and it’s chock full of skincare. The Stoffel balm added to the soothing and freezing while the Northern Elixir aftershave went on frigidly cold along with its nice peppermint/eucalyptus scent. Menthol Monday’s Frigid Announcement: Hot shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Junjie/Bic day 10 Stirling Glacial Frozen Tuxedo SS Diana Menthol Balm Stirling Glacial Frozen Tuxedo AS Splash Davidoff Cool Water EdT OMG…….it takes a real menthol monkey like me to be able to use stuff like this because it’s so intense. The Glacial Frozen Tuxedo’s scent is so delightful, the soap is a lather champion, the slickness is wonderful, the menthol sensation is so bone chilling, and the skincare is numero uno. The Diana balm is icy cold with great moisturizing, and the Glacial Frozen Tuxedo aftershave can leave your face almost numb from its menthol kick. Finally the Cool Water fragrance seems to pair well somehow with this soap and aftershave. Three passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that I thoroughly enjoyed! Wednesday morning’s Nuclear Grand Freeze: Hot shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/new Wilkinson Stirling Glacial Wintergreen SS Stirling Glacial Wintergreen ASB Stirling Glacial Wintergreen Witch Hazel Christian Dior Fahrenheit EdT Oh la la my face is almost numb after using the Glacial Wintergreen trio - that delightful scent filled my bathroom, the soap delivered tons of awesome lather, the menthol sensation kicked in right away and each stroke of my Super Speed seemed to make it colder, and the postshave feeling was so comfortable. The matching balm and witch hazel put plenty of soothing icicles in my face. Finally the Fahrenheit fragrance and I’m good to go. This Glacial Electric Sheep packs a LETHAL menthol sensation that jumps on you as soon as you start lathering up and each stroke of the razor seems to make it feel colder. The Stoffel balm is also plenty cold, its peppermint scent is so nice, and it gives so much moisturizing as well as soothing. The Northern Elixir aftershave is another menthol atom bomb - heaven help anyone who can’t handle it. Finally the lovely Baker Street fragrance which I received a few years ago and I’m all set to relax here at home on a rainy day. Three passes gave me a mighty fine fun filled BBS shave! The soap is such a pleasure to lather, it’s so slick, the menthol sensation hits like a ton of icy bricks, and it’s so gentle on my skin. The Stoffel balm from Bundubeard is also plenty frigid and it’s so soothing. Finally the Glacial Cedar aftershave laid another coating of icicles in my face. Thursday morning’s Mega Grand Freeze: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Wilkinson day 9 Stirling Glacial Iceberg Island SS Bundubeard Stoffel ASB Stirling Glacial Iceberg Island AS Splash Not only am I frozen solid I’m smelling soooooo great even if I say so myself. The Glacial Iceberg Island soap and aftershave have such a MAGNIFICENT scent which is an exact copy of Virgin Island Water from Creed. The soap lathers like a champ, it’s so damned slick, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the postshave feeling is wonderful like ALL of Rod’s products. The Stoffel balm is another South African treasure, and the Glacial Iceberg Island aftershave went on frigidly cold along with its delightful scent that lasts for most of the day. Sunday morning’s Atomic Grand Freeze: Hot shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 8 Stirling Glacial Spearmint SS Stirling Glacial Spearmint ASB MSC Frosted Spearmint AS Spray Acqua di Selva Cologne To call this shave frigid would still be an understatement because truthfully and honestly it was borderline painful but I LOVE that sensation. The Glacial Spearmint soap has such a beautiful scent that filled my bathroom, the lather is absolutely FABULOUS, the menthol blast hits you immediately, each pass makes it feel stronger, and the postshave feeling is numero uno. The matching balm has the same scent as well as a helluva strong menthol kick along with so much moisturizing and soothing while the Frosted Spearmint aftershave from MSC is not only colder than the Arctique from Barrister & Mann, it smells exactly like the Glacial Spearmint. Finally the Acqua di Selva cologne which has a lovely minty scent and I’m good to go. Another dynamite three pass BBS shave that was sheer delight and pleasure! The Stoffel balm is extremely moisturizing as well as soothing, it’s another menthol atom bomb, and the Glacial Frozen Tuxedo aftershave is lethally cold - its scent is a delight. Finally the Cool Water fragrance somehow pairs nicely with the scent of this soap and aftershave. Another three pass work of art of a BBS shave - what a pleasure it was! The soap is a champion latherer, it’s slicker than slick, the menthol sensation feels like liquid nitrogen, and the skincare is perfect. The Stoffel balm delivers a helluva strong menthol kick along with its nice peppermint scent and plenty of soothing not to mention how moisturizing it is, and the Glacial Iceberg Island aftershave freezes like Siberia in January - its delightful scent lasts all day. Their Glacial Mango Sunrise soap is a gorgeously scented menthol atom bomb with awesome lather, the slickness is wonderful, and it’s so skin friendly like every Stirling product I have. The Stoffel balm is also a frigid delight, and the Northern Elixir aftershave also freezes like crazy - its scent is a nice blend of peppermint and eucalyptus. Finally the Invictus fragrance which I’m kind of on the fence about and I’m good to go - a couple of rounds of golf with some friends of mine today.
