Tuesday morning: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 3 MSC Pole Position SS L’Oréal Men Expert Hydra Power ASB Folsom & Company Shambala AS Splash This Pole Position soap has been sitting around here for a long time so today I wanted to give it a spin and I’m so happy that I did because it’s FANTASTIC. The scent reminds me a lot of Calvin Klein CK One which is really nice, it’s a tallow based treasure with tons of thick, rich, super slick lather, and it’s got a very comfortable postshave feeling. The Hydra Power balm is extremely moisturizing as well as soothing, and the Shambala aftershave gives a nice menthol kick along with its lovely scent. Three passes left me smoother than silk - what a brilliant shave this was! Wishing you all a super duper day - be well and stay safe! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Neptune Aftershave Additional Care: Osma Alum Additional Care: Thayers Facial Toner: Rose Petal For today’s shave I went with the Tatara Amakuni with Feather Pro-guards and BBS Soap’s Neptune! It was another overcast day here in NY to bring up my mood I tried to go with a summery scent. Neptune is fantastic! Sweet, bright, and fruity. It instantly brought to mind the beautiful summer sun and heat that seem as if they are not on their way. BBS soaps always leave an amazing post shave feel too! What more can I say about the Amakuni that hasn’t been said. To me it’s perfect. Balance, design, weight (SS), the friggin kick-ass magnet cap! Man I love this razor! And it paired exceptionally well with the Feather Pro-Guard! What a shave! A good one will always brighten the day! Happy Tuesday! Have an awesome week! Thanks for your post. That IKON B1 is a wonderfully efficient razor. Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk
It's definitely a step up from the 34c, and is based on the 'new' head design... I have the 'older' model, so I can't compare it to the recent models..
Whoo! Thanks for the heads up That's local to me. I am not often influenced, but I bit the bullett and have some Woolly Wash on the way

18 Jun 2025 2 Days growth Hot Water Prep and Preshave = Derby Menthol shave cream Soap = ARKO tub ! Brush = Pura Setola Bowl = White plastic Razor = Gillette No 66 Blade = Wilkinson Sword white cardboard box made in China Passes = 2 and done Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayer’s rose petal ASL = Old Spice Scent = Stirling Spice EdT The Arko has lost some of its stank and no longer inspires hours and hours of the giggles. On the other it lathers superbly. Again, too much lather was achieved, but better more than less The Chinese Wilkinson Sword was OK, not on par with say the Gillette 7 o’clock sharp edge, but I will be generous and say it is quite smooth No damage. Great start to another rainy day
Thanks Habibi! All these MSC soaps are awesome - they’re so similar to Stirling! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wednesday morning: Quick shower Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/7 AM day 4 Vintage Cerrus SC Lubriderm Moisturizer Alt Innsbruck AS Splash This Cerrus cream was discontinued quite a while ago and it’s a pity because IMHO it’s so good. It’s from Germany and it was so CHEAP over there so it was a perfect cream for anyone on a very tight budget. The scent is very nice - it’s a combination of aquatic and minty notes, it’s so easy to lather, it’s fairly slick, it has a teeny tiny little kiss of menthol, and it’s very gentle on sensitive skin. The Lubriderm moisturizer gave me great soothing, and does the Alt Innsbruck ever smell lovely - plenty of menthol goodness to it also. I was a bit rushed because I have to lead the services in synagogue this morning but I still managed to get a very good two pass BBS shave that was really pleasurable! Wishing everyone a great day - be well and stay safe! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
