This was a late post for this morning’s shave. I thought that I took pic of my lather, but for some reason it didn't take. Suffice to say I got a nice 3 pass shave, bit a weep on my chin appeared. Cold water took care of it. I went with the Sea Spice Lime and added the menthol drops because it's sweltering on Long Island. I love the weather, but the menthol gave me that nice cooling sensation.
Alum feedback was considerable, but it wasn't drastic. Performed my usual postshave ritual. Take care.

Fine Throwback Thursday shave. The Gillette Foamy is getting pretty low, so a decision will have to be made soon. Clean&clear all over. No damaage. One pass. Closed with Mennen Skin-Bracer A.S. Nice job from that green luquid. As Outstanding As It Gets.

Pulled an "Audible At The Sink of Scrimmage", switching to the Clubman Gent's Gin A.S. Again, great shave all around. One pass. Actually, I had a special reason for the A.S. switch, as I decided to shampoo with Clubman in the shower. I figured I could get away with it, as it was still cool, low humidity. It worked-I'm, not dripping sweat from it. It's a nice shampoo, but I won't use it on hot humid mornings. The Gent's Gin gave me a nice finish. As Outstanding As It Gets.

Thanks Gary-there are indeed some days I'll have to "make up" for missed reports. By the way, I have a cream I haven't used in a long while-from "Gillette Series"....might go to that after the current Foamy expires. Why haven't I used the "Series" kind in a long time. It includes charcoal, which scared me off, but maybe it won't be so bad.

    Good evening.

    Rockwell 6C (6)
Gillette Super Platinum DE Blade (6)
    Cremo Sandalwood SC
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Lucky Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 1.75 Days

    20250627_180431.jpg

This is a late post because I shaved this morning. Did 3 passes for a close shave. Reopened my chin weeper. I went with the Cremo because I was going to do a headshave as well, but decided to leave it for tomorrow. I just used my hands to massage the Cremo instead of using a brush. It still worked for me to glide the razor across my skin. The alum feedback was slight, but noticeable. Splashed on the Lucky Witch Hazel and the Aqua Velva Ice Blue aftershave to finish. Take care.
