Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Men Kenya Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Pears Naturalé aloe Vera & olive oil bar soap.
Brush: Fine 24mm Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl
Lather: Vitos Vegetal shaving soap.
Blade: Gillette Wilkinson Sword. (D1)
Razor: Parker 22R.
Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head/Dome) (D1)

A new shave set up to start the weekend..

This morning I went for the Vitos Vegetal with it's wonderfully 'Full On' vibrant sweet almond scent. If you like almond scented shaving products this soap will surprise you with it's fragrance performance and post shave feel...Superb stuff!

Like the Cella Extra Extra Bio Organic Aloe Vera Shaving Cream last weekend it's equal in everyway IMHO to the Vitos Red (tallow) version.

Another close comfortable combined face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of P&G Old Spice Original ASL.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

Soap = Woolly Wash OUTBACK
Brush = Pura Setola
Bowl = White Plastic
Razor = Gillette Executive 1959 E4
Blade = Vintage Zwilling JA Henckels
Passes = 2 and done
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayer’s rose petal
ASL = Blue Stratos, fresh, mild and very pleasant
Scent = Prada Luna Rossa

Welcoming the Woolly Wash to my den:
Sheep Tallow Shea Butter, Glycerin, castor oil, Tussah silk.
Sandalwood, Patchouli, Bergamot, Cedarwood

Whoo!

It is a soft kind of croap, 1 scoop into the bowl, way too much lather. It soaks up the water evenly without too much bubble formation and comes out thick and creamy. No hint of drying out during the shave and leaves a soft protective layer to the skin afterwards. This is kind of what I had always hoped MWF would be like for me. Only my first day of using it, but it is already a keeper!

Lovely smooth blade. Took a few strokes to get back into the heavier Executive set at 5: just right

Fine shave to get the week-end going. A minute at the Loading Dock with the boar brush and Stoylin Glacial soap. Clean&clear shave all over. No damage. 2 healthy passes-man it felt good to get a Soylin Glacial soap on my face&neck . What a nice finish from the Gabels "Drops Of" Lime A.S. I ordered this A.S. as part of a 3-set Gabels A.S. persuasion (along with Bay Rum and Original). The shave? As Outstanding As It Gets.

Definitely needed a headshave this morning. 2 passes and a few touchups gave me a cueball smooth error-free headshave. Once I found out how to get the best lather from TSD soaps, it provides a nice, slick lather. I had some considerable alum feedback. Finished with my usual postshave routine. I must say this was one of my best headshaves. Take care.

Around 4 cc water creating another fantastic lather with great skin protection

Another damage free DFS with the Executive set on 5

Sunday morning shave,

The Scottish Fine Shaving Soap never fails to provide me with a excellent slick protective lather for the shave leaving a wonderful post shave feel.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report. The Indian GWS & Gillette Winner platinum blades have been smooth and efficient through the month and this morning was no exception. A great shave to finish the month off on a high.

In my July focus I'll be using my vintage & modern Gillette DE razors paired together with the Egyptian made Lord Asco Super Stainless, Silver Star Super Stainless, & Shark Super Stainless for my face shaves, and continue to use the Gillette Guard Cartridge razor for my head and dome shaves.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Brut Attraction Totale ASL.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.
