Agreed! How it happened was that Rod sent me a free quarter sample on one of my orders which I then added to a sample of Barbershop that I was currently using and I do love the combination.
Thank you Jeff! For tomorrow I’m going to amp up the efficiency. Instead of the mild I have a fresh Feather loaded in the aggressive.
SOTD: 8th July 2025. Shaving Recipe for today. Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Men Kenya Shower Gel. Pre: Cold wet flannel to my face & head. Pears Naturalé aloe Vera & olive oil bar soap. Brush: Fine 24mm Synthetic. Bowl Lather. Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl Lather: Vitos Vegetale Shaving Soap. Blade: Lord Shark Super Stainless. (D1) Razor: 2020 King C. Gillette. Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head/Dome) (D4) Post: Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./ Boots Facial Cucumber Toner./ Boots Cucumber Moisturising Lotion./ P&G Old Spice Original ASL. Greetings, (Face & Head Shave) A relaxing early morning face & head shave. Everything in my shave set up this morning worked together wonderfully.. The Vitos Vegetale Soap lathers up superbly provides me a slick protective thick lather with a wonderful vibrant marzipan /sweet almond scent with a small hint of coconut oil which lasts throughout the shave and beyond leaving a superb post shave feel. My 2020 King C. Gillette. & Shark super stainless, was yet again another smooth comfortable match feeling smooth and efficient. When I first started out the Shark super stainless where one of the my first purchased blades, I bought them with blind impulsion purely for the super cool shark cover design. My skin type really likes stainless steel/ PFTE coated blades, they have a good balance of smoothness/sharpness which is a great combo I find them durable & efficient. Another close comfortable acceptable face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of P&G Old Spice Original ASL. My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine. Stay safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Tuesday morning: Lukewarm shower Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/7 AM day 10 Palmolive Classic SC (from Italy) Lubriderm Moisturizer Hega AS Splash (from Sweden) This Palmolive Classic cream from Italy is EXACTLY the same as the version sold everywhere else in Europe - the only difference is the colour of the tube. I love its clean, soapy scent, it’s such a pleasure to lather - just a very small amount is needed, it’s really slick, and it has a very soothing sensation on my skin. The Lubriderm moisturizer worked its magic afterwards, and the Hega aftershave is one of the few things that are still available in Sweden - does it ever smell nice - not only that, it’s alcohol based but it has no sting or burn - in fact it feels a bit cooling. Another awesome three pass BBS shave that was lots of fun! Enjoy your day and your shaves - be well and stay safe! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You’re lucky that you can use Feathers because they’re much too harsh for me - the one and only time I used one I almost cut my face to pieces! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
