My last 100 of these from Amazon, on 5 September 2022, cost me US$11.00. I've tried maybe 25 DE blade models so far, and these continue to set the standard against which all other blades are judged. Smooth, sharp, long-lasting, and unfailingly excellent, they would still be a good value to me at $20 for 100.
I’m glad I took advantage of some sales over the years. Especially important considering I’m a daily one and done head shaver.
I know the price can fluctuate depending on the vendor and such, $11 for 100 seems a good price for them. I also agree about Bics being one of the best blades out there. I've used them almost exclusively for DE shaving after my initial sampler pack I bought when I first go into wet shaving.
Go with the picture I use for posting on here above my name. The 100 pack I use as my posting picture, is sharp but not way sharp like the harder to find Persona Blue that have the Red wrapper have gone almost $40 USA per 100 pack or almost $0.40 per blade and only $16.98 USA or $0.17 a blade on the model that is my posting picture above my name. If in Europe try the German Persona Blue looking package of 100 with white wrapper on the blades. The German are a good price for what you get right now on USA Amazon $17.50 USA for 100 or $0.17--$0.18 per blade. Now on the 200 pack being the German Blue looking package and white blade wrapper despite being labeled as Persona Blue on Amazon I am not sure what the price is as I do not want those bigger sets with individual 5 packs inside them just a smaller 100 pack will do.
I am not surprised as Bic makes the best disposable shaver in the classic Bic Yellow with white on head or is the bigger all yellow being the best as it has the wider gap over the older all yellow smaller head version also still made or the grippy rubber on the olive green with white head version that tends to die as the blade gap is smaller.
I guess I'll have to worry about it in 5 or 6 years. Plenty of Personna, Voshkod and Astra to make it into the 2030s.
From what I understand Voshkod are hard to find outside of Russia due to sanctions all but Belarus, China, or North Korea (that has sanctions on being sold to from Russia) Maybe one or more of the Stan countries outside of Afghanistan, basically a no leader country at the moment thanks in part to the USA can buy Russian made goods but nobody else really can Buy Russian goods because of the Ruso-Ukraine war and countries placing sanctions. Even if current USA president is going to allow Russian made goods into country no business would be willing to import. Even others like Russian made Bic or Russian Gillette models are gone to rest of the world, only sold in country only because the own people can't get products from out of country due to 95% having a ban on import items. The other two, Astera and Personna are easy to find as both have multi manufacturing areas though the Persona Israel has shut down long before war broke out.
I think the Voskhod blade were some of my favorite blades. So much so, I think I still have a few hundred squirrelled away in my "Big Big-O-Blades" .
At least you said it was some of your favorite blades, you can use others that you like at least as much if not more.
I find them versatile, and work well with about any razor I have. Then again, I have several brands that do the same. So little face, so many blades.
I understand the Personna 100 pack made in USA for me seems to work in most of the non true aggressive shavers with the shaver depending on weather my older 2017 or my 2024--2025 is better for the shaver I am using as I find the 2024--2025/thinner material blade is better for more mild shavers similar to a Super Speed blue flair tip and the 2017 I find better in shavers that are more neutral in level of shaver neither aggressive or mild but both eras will work in either style. If the shaver is super mild or almost useless as a shaver, then my King C Gillette is the only option for those as these tend to have the thinnest blade material seeing as how most of the ones I have are made in China and China tends to have some of the thinnest material blades.
I cannot make understand what you are trying to say. 2017, 2024-2025?????? Please show us pictures of the different year blades you are referring to. I didnt know personna had manufacture dates on them.
They do not have dates on them most people can read but I know due to Amazon the pages with what you bought from day one when I bought the first and due to e-Bay similar on the summery page when I bought the second more recently in May on the 19th 2025. I only say 2024--2025 as to a guess when they were manufactured for the ones in May due to being a small seller on e-Bay and then say because the others were Amazon in September a week after I got my first shaver, they were made in 2017. Also, in this time the older era is some of the mid 2010's that have a logo on them that are actually factory reject being sold on Amazon despite a number of people saying the old 2017 Amazon are fakes from China (they are too thick to be Chinese) and the newer ones are since Acctublade, the company that makes has made it more obvious the blades are made by them no logo at all so I use a Sharpie/Sharpie Xtreme for the marking a side because so I can used both sides up before switching as I get a longer time than most people using a blade, usually 30--35 days from the newer set made around 2023--2024.
