Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Men Kenya Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Naturalé aloe Vera & olive oil bar soap.
Brush: Fine 24mm Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Proraso Blue shaving cream.
Blade: Lord Shark Super Stainless. (D2)
Razor: 1950's Gillette Ball End Tech. (US)

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./.Aloe Vera Gel./ Superdrug Sierran Breeze ASL.

Early morning shave,

Another wonderful performance from the 1950's (US) Ball End Tech to finish my shaving week off wonderfully.

The Proraso Blue shaving cream created a nice creamy slick protective lather with only a small amount in a short space of time The residual slickness is excellent leaving a superb post-shave from the addition of the Aloe Vera and vitamin E making my mature skin feel soft & moisturized after the shave.

what I love about the Gillette tech design is they are such mild smooth efficient shavers especially the earlier models, it would be hard for me to choose a favourite because each one that i own is a joy to shave with...However, I find the 40's & 50's models are slightly more assertive with the right blade choice.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Superdrug Sierran Breeze ASL.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.

Passes = 2 and done
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayer’s rose petal
ASB = L’Occitane ASB
ASL = Fine Latigo
Scent = Stirling Spice

Super 2 passer on this chilly morning. Minor weeper during the first pass: left side below lower lip: cleared with cold water rinse. No further issues. The Alum was lively around the neck and Adam’s apple. All set for the day ahead

 

thank you Chris.i have 3 on the go in rotation-i pass them from razor to razor.i haven't binned one yet.so easily 5 shaves on each so far,probably more..

Real good shave this morning. A minute at the Loading Dock with the Razorock brush and Proraso tub(0:30 in each direction). Clean, clear shave all around. 2 healthy passes. No red damage anywhere. Course with shaving, all damage can only be in the color red. Finished with the classy Mennen Skin-Bracer. Very humid today, thus I probably could have chosen a cooler A.S. (not that Skin Bracer doesn't provide a nice cool). I hadn't used SB in quite a while, though. The Master Splash Creation I had would have been better, but for its "after-efffect". Anyway, As Outstanding As It Gets for this weeks's Throwback Thursday.

ASL = Fine Latigo, then
ASB = L’Occitane ASB
Scent = Stirling Spice

Fine shave with the New + Parker. The blade impressed me more today, smoothing out a bit, might take this to day 3. No damage, no complaints.

Thanks Chris. The Nivea shaving sticks are another great shaving assortment that is unfortunately no longer available for the masses to purchase, unless you want to be exploited and pay an extortionate price on e-Bay. I was fortunate to buy a batch of six for 50p/67 cents each before they where discontinued in the UK.
