I should already have learned to not use more than a 3 setting on the shaver in moustache area that should be something I know already having done that before. Even a dull near the end of use shaver blade has this issue in the moustache area. I do find that no shaving soaps/creams work best a work best though having tried shaving gel for my face one time with the shaver it was awful because I had no feel though water is the best if going before a shower after less need for it if right after the shower. If I need and I have not shaved as in skipping a day, I go less then needed in soap like actual body/hand soaps then let soak into skin a bit before shaving.
Todays shave at 10 pm, did later due to going so smooth yesterday was good a 9.5/10 because I had only oppend up 2 cuts I did yesterday as the others were smaller more like multiple hairs I ripped out. I also today did not need to go as smooth as yesterday for a nearly BBS. I used only water on the shaver head/blade due to just having done a shower, I did clean in middle of shaving 80% trying to remember to do that more often. I might be time to flip the blade now that I am thinking about it, good got that done. Different topic but wanted to ask on a more active thread: In place of an expensive Alum block used after the shave have any of you used a deodorant with the newer style Aluminum Sequichlorohydrate at least in it when needed after shaving? I have using what is usually the next on deck to use Deodorant that is at least 12% but not more than 14% because I get all the sweat blocked otherwise at 15%+ and the deodorant becomes useless. I got rid of the last two of my style they can no longer make in the USA or most of the world because this I need 14% to 16% because the lower end 12% did not work anymore for me it just came off because I was still sweating and higher like 17%+ left me rashing due to how this older aluminum ban in most other countries blocks the sweat.

I really enjoy The Wet Shave store. The El Azulado soap just clung ont0 the Badger brush, leading to a great "across-the-board" shave. The soap may SMELL like Aqua Velva, but it isn't as cold, like the Stoylin Glacials are. It SHOULD be, as the word "Icy" shows up on the lid. Maybe I'll write them and ask if I should stick it in the fridge for a long period of time(actually I DID that once, but just for a few hours). I'll add Wet Shave store peoducts to my "I Can't Be Without This" list with pleasure. A little bit of redness did appear on Cactus Nation(neck), but didn't produce any pain. 2 passes. Nice finish from the Aqua Velva, but I still have work to do to lose the Niagra Falls persuasion. Fairly Outstanding.
Hi Casey. I'm Charlie. I spent a good bit of time with the 30 Day Crew, and it really helped me improve my technique. That's really what this group is all about. There is definitely a learning curve when it comes to DE shaving. In the process of learning, I had to change some things I was doing. I'm sorry to see you cutting yourself so often. It happens sometimes, but it should be a rare occurrence if your technique is solid. Do you want to improve your shaves? If so, have you considered what you might do differently as part of your shaving routine? If you are open to suggestions, I'm sure the folks here will be glad to help out.

I only needed 2 passes plus touchuos for a cueball and bloodless result. Didn't have any alum feedback and finished with my usual postshave routine. Take care.
