Superb shave with a great lather. I will miss this scent as on Saturday the Edmund Fitzgerald will come calling for this tub. Fortunately, I have several other Declaration Grooming soaps with the Milkbase in the Northern Den.

I did my customary three passes without any PTisms. I would say years of practice with the straight has rewarded me with many shaves without any mishaps. Regardless of the razor of choice, respecting the blade, learning the nuances of each razor over time and the sheer enjoyment of the process will eventually lead to many fabulous shaves.

Still learning the new to me since Late April Gillette Adjustable shaver. I am still finding out how to best use the shaver in adjustment dials knowing for a fact since June I can't use a dial past 3 on my moustache area.

I have not used deodorants with aluminum sequichlorohydrat. However, I don't find alum blocks expensive. I bought Stirling Alum blocks at 9 dollars and they lasted almost a year.
