I’m back again with a major Grand Freeze: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 8 Stirling Glacial Strawberry Lemonade SS Bundubeard Stoffel ASB Stirling Glacial Strawberry Lemonade AS Splash I really should have waited until this evening or tomorrow morning to shave because today is Tisha B’av but I have to admit that I was not able to resist. This Glacial Strawberry Lemonade stuff smells so delightful - the strawberry notes seem to be more dominant but the lemony aspect is definitely noticeable. The soap lathers fabulously, there’s so much slickness, the menthol sensation is off the charts, and the postshave feeling is so soothing as well as moisturizing. The Stoffel balm’s peppermint scent is so nice, there’s PLENTY of menthol in it, and you wouldn’t believe how moisturizing it is - it leaves my skin feeling like it was born again. Finally the Glacial Strawberry Lemonade aftershave went on with a POWERFUL menthol kick and its beautiful scent lasts almost all day. It took five, yes FIVE passes to get rid of all my insane stubble. What an awesome BBS shave this and did I ever enjoy it. Wishing you all a great Sunday - be well and stay safe. Hi all, I had a brilliant shave this morning with the new Alpha eclipse aluminum DE razor. This razor being only the 2nd modern aluminum razor I have acquired the other being the Henson +++ DE razor. I normally prefer the extra weight of Stainless Steel and Brass razors but after such enjoyable shaves with the other alpha razors I have tried most recently the Guido DE I couldn’t resist. I have to say, with absolutely no biased towards any brand of razor. It gave me a superb shave very close and smooth paired with a Wizamet blade. Even though the razor only weighs 48 grams (on my kitchen scales) it didn’t feel too light in my hand, I really liked the handle and excellent grip finding it very easy to maneuver around specially on tricky spots. The Goodfellas’ smile Savage soap gave me great cushioning and aftershave feel as I would expect from these fine soaps. Finished off nicely with Genuine Ogallala Bay rum and Sandalwood splash definitely my favorite bay rum range. One pass WTG one pass ATG no touch-ups done. No Nicks no worries. Cheers.

Hi all, I had a lovely shave tonight as expected with the Gillette Aristocrat slim adjustable all ready for an early start tomorrow. I chose to set it on 7 which made it quite efficient with a 2nd shave Wizamet blade (In my opinion these are one of the top blades for smoothness and efficiency). Like all DE razors the slim adjustable needs to be paired with the correct blade to get the best out of it. In my opinion, the Wizamet super iridium blade is one of the best available for smoothness and efficiency and from my experience pairs very well with this razor. The WCS Duck fat soap worked quite well giving me good cushioning and zesty fresh aftershave feel. Finished off nicely with the Rasozero Rinfrescante splash. 1 pass WTG 1 pass ATG done no touch ups. No Nick’s No Worries. Cheers.
