    Greetings,

    Early morning combined face & head shave.

    An excellent performance from the Kanzy K100 razor has a well-balanced weight it's closed 'tech type head' which holds the blade rigidly which blade chatter is reduced to minimum with no blade over-hang which is very comfortable to shave with, and additional protection of not catching my ear lobes or under my nose when shaving.

    Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of P&G Old Spice Bearglove ASL Spray.

    My face and precious swede are feeling smooth, & smelling divine.;)

    Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.:cool:

    2 Days growth

    Hot Water Prep and Preshave = Derby Menthol shave cream
    Cream/Soap = Maca Root & Aloe
    Brush = Razorock Plissoft
    Razor = I4 Slim @ 4
    Blade = Dorco Prime Platinum (1)
    Passes = 2 +
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayer’s rose petal
    ASB = L’Occitane
    ASL = Blue Stratos
    Scent = Blue Stratos

    Dorco Prime Platinum did OK, not the best in my Den but then the Wizamet is a hard act to follow

    Have a great day one and all

    How do those Dorco compare to the 301 & 300 standard blades?

    same as yesterday, BUT......

    Brush-Maggard 24 mm. "Marble Handle"/

    Ahhh, I could have done better down at the right sideburn area, but all else came out fine. By the way, Monday's brush was the Jayaruh #59. Back to this morning, the Maggard helped provide me with a clean, clear shave from the Kent. One pass. Fine close with the Gabels A.S. Satisfied enough. Pretty Outstanding.

    Sounds like a well made razor. If I were to design a butterfly shaver, I would do similar to the edges as people out there do want protected edges on a blade when using a butterfly where currently none unless very expensive $200+ Rex do this sort of idea.

    My shave today was a 9.8/10 for opening up a micro cut in the moustache area. I went blade 3 times first on dial 1 then dial 2 for all and then dial 3 for all but moustache area. day 6 topside of blade. The older runs of King C Gillette blades have a 2 on one side and an S on the other to tell them apart in use, might be the same on the Chinese but I remember those only having writing on the one side though I could be wrong.

    I used like always my Gillette Adjustable Shaver slim handle my no case H 2, the one I can date.

    I used water on my face and the blade/head of the shaver though used enough water on the face I did not in shave dial 1 the first shave use much water on the blade/head of shaver.

    The new book I got on July-31, King C. Gillette, the man and his wonderful shaving device https://www.amazon.com/dp/0316009377/?tag=thshde-20, my early era of King C Gillete blade before the company moved to the thinner Chinese models, and my Gillette shaver are proving they are still a great trio for this month. I am loving the book, still in the 1920's era of the Gillette company though almost out as I am just starting chapter 6 that gets into the 1930's.

    :thanks:

    I was going to see if now my blade is lightly dulled in if I could try for a near BBS shave and it worked by going in stages. 9.8/10 was for the reopening of the cut on Mustache area but since that was micro sized cut I gave higher then 9.5/10.

    Great shave Chris! The Stirling Bay Rum is strong and lasts long time. However, I wouldn't use it if I was going to a crowded event be because of its medicinal scent.
