The Cella Shave Cream was applied with the Jayaruh #296 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette New Standard Razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Cella After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Man oh man this Kameelperd soap freezes like the Stirling Glacials, and it smells so nice - the scent is a delightful blend of coffee and peppermint, it’s glycerine based but it lathers wonderfully, and it’s so skin friendly. The Stoffel balm is super stuff and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave has a ton of menthol as well as a beautiful old school barbershop scent that I love so much. Another picture perfect BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!

For today’s shave the sun was blocked by Alpha and their Eclipse accompanied by Lodrino and by way of the Terminator!

The Eclipse is amazing. This was my first shave with it and it may already be my favorite aluminum razor! Perfect weight and balance it sits perfectly in my hand. The handle is as great as Alpha always does with a perfect grip. Easy to maneuver and quite nimble I could see myself grabbing the Eclipse even when in a rush as I imagine you can run this on auto and you’d come out with a DFS at least. This will be a razor that gets heavy usage from me. Steve and Alpha did it again!

Lodrino is just fantastic! Francesco really does create such intricate scents. Tribute Collection - 02 which is a tribute to the Governator, Arnold, is one of those scents. It starts off sweet with a citrus zest to it which leads into a spiciness whose warmth develops into a soft amber, vanilla and woody notes. Wow! What a journey!

All in all a wonderful shave as always! To both the Eclipse and to Lodrino I’ll say “I’ll be back!”

These are the old labels on this set, it is now called Roadmaster. The scent is the same great combo of ginger, lime, and tobacco, signature of Bogart. Through The Fire Fine Craft makes excellent soap, aftershave, and pottery. They are based in Michigan. The shave was very smooth and comfortable, with little sting from the AS. I used setting 6 for my cheeks and 4 for the neck.
