    • Razor : Alpha Outlaw Evolution 316L Stainless Steel Viper handle. (Hong Kong)
    • Blade : Gillette Nacet Stainless (1) (Russia).
    • Brush : Yaqi Caramel Cats Whiskers Two Band Badger. (China).
    • Soap : DLC-Yaqi Smoking Aces soap sample. (China).
    • Aftershave : Genuine Ogallala bay Rum & Vanilla Splash (USA).
    • Weight : 126 grams. (razor).
    Hi all,
I had a brilliant shave this morning with the Alpha outlaw evolution SS.
There is not much else I can say about this stunning razor that hasn’t already been said the shave is efficient and close and oh so smooth.
Steve from Alpha shaving really up to his game with the redesign of the outlaw which I never tried myself but I’m aware as many of us are that it had issues.

The Gillette Nacet blade is sharp and smooth it paired very well with this razor as I expected.

Finished off nicely with Genuine Ogallala bay rum & vanilla splash.

One pass WTG one pass ATG no touch ups perfect.
    No nicks no worries.

    Cheers.
PS, I went with an AFL theme today as the finals start in just under two weeks and my team are in with a chance this year.

    Greetings,

    A later than normal posting...

The Baili BD 191... is on offer from many different shaving companies, at various prices 'Vikings Blade' & Razorock are just some that comes to mind.

Like the Baili BD177 Rose Gold TTO & Kanzy K100 Chinese clone razors, the Baili BD 191 has a "closed head design" which gives extra protection from catching my ear lobes and under the nose when shaving something of which I like very much about all three razors.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Cien Men X-Bolt ASL.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth, & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

SE Shave # 363 - DECLARATION GROOMING MICROMATIC MONDAY - Lamplight Penance

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: GEM Micromatic Open Comb
    Blade: GEM Stainless
    Brush: Epsilon Horse Hair
Lather: Declaration Grooming/Chatillon Lux Lamplight Penance
Aftershave: Chatillon Lux Lamplight Penance Toner
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Here is yesterday’s shave. I have been so busy doing my best impersonation of Paul Bunyan that Sunday’s shave was posted in the July thread. I must be starting to show Joe’s age. Our Grand Overseer never misses an oops. :happy097:
This shave was fabulous with the MMOC. A comfortable three pass shave. The horse hair brush whipped up a huge amount of lather.

This tub is setting up for an appointment with the Edmund Fitzgerald probably in October. I guess it could wait till November when the anniversary of the Edmund Fitzgerald demise occurs. I am striving for October.

    awesome

i will have to say,of the now 6+ stirling soaps i have..
    this is my favorite,performance wise
scentwise it's similar to lemon chill, but without the menthol
the floid genuine is a nice classic scent, rich, warm but light.
i like the floid black ,but it's discontinued unfortunately, so i use that stuff sparingly..
the genuine will grow on me..;)
    have a fine day everyone

1932-what a great year in the scent business-Floid and Gabels. Course just the year before, Skin-Bracer was introduced.

Todays shave is 9.5/10 due to a very thin layer of stubble and having to go back to get spots I missed 3 times. Today is day 3 on bottom overall day 17. I used dial 4 during most of the shave except for end touch up was on dial 2.

I used like always my Gillette slim handle H 2 without case.

I shaved after shower so I did not need much water on shaver head/blade with only shower for face.

The new book I got on July-31, King C. Gillette, the man and his wonderful shaving device https://www.amazon.com/dp/0316009377/?tag=thshde-20, my early era of King C Gillete blade before the company moved to the thinner Chinese models, and my Gillette shaver are proving they are still a great trio for this month. I am in the beginning of chapter 10.

I guess my promoting the book on The Shave Den has caused all the cheap versions of the book to be sold out on Amazon so now people can only buy $50+ books but on e-Bay they have a few books in the $20--$30 range total including shipping and a $39 book as well with free shipping.

    Razor: Taylor Eyewitness 1000
    Brush: Purple Haze Badger
    Lather: Hoffman’s Shaving Co. “TUT”
    Aftershave: Hoffman’s Shaving Co. “TUT”
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

A beautiful cool and comfortable morning on LI. Perfect for my X3Bar Pull Day workout and the splitting of wood.

I rewarded myself with a great shave with the Hoffman’s TUT software. The scent profile is as follows: “This is a classic scent profile but with a twist! Features a very well done Egyptian Musk blended with a Black Oud.”

Three passes with the Taylor straight has left my face smooth and refreshed. The post shave feel is just wonderful.

Hope you are all having a great day.

Nope, the book only had one printing in November 1978, probably more to do with this being 75 years since the introduction of the disposable shaving blade in the 1900's around 1906 after King C Gillette perfected the blade, no longer having to make the fully disposable Safe-T-Shavers the company made from 1903 to 1906 in a little under 1000 of these.
