Tuesday's shave:

This was an "audible at the sink of scrimmage" as we do appear to be in for a cool, pleasant week. I went with:

Very nice shave, "technique" and "tools" morphed in a lovely way this morning. A minute at the loading dock with the Razorock Plissoftand the Ike soap. Clean, clear shave all around. No damage. 2 passes. Great to smell like a President again!(this was a favorite of JFK, NOT Ike, and don't ask me to explain why Frank mixed up 2 Presidents with this). As Outstanding As It Gets.

The biggest Ragg I have performed like a champ but it was the brush that stood out most. I picked this up somewhere along the way years ago and have no idea what the bristles are but they perform really well and are pleasing on the face. And the handle fits perfectly in my hand. It’s a keeper for sure

This fragrance smells bloody good and Australian made, ideal for all day and night autumn and winter used.
The bottle contains a massive 20% fragrance, which puts it into the parfum category (being a very bold, long-lasting fragrance).

Top notes: bay, cinnamon leaf
Middle notes: oak resin, patchouli, vanilla
Base notes: sandalwood, cedar, smoke

The Williams Mug Shave Soap was face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #465 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Double Ring Razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Do I ever love these Biolijf soaps - they’re from the Netherlands and although they’re a bit pricey I still feel that they’re worth it. This Spice smells so nice, it’s such a pleasure to lather, it has lots of slickness, and it’s so good skincare wise. The Pierre Cardin balm provided plenty of moisturizing, and I was very happy when the wife complimented me when she smelled the matching cologne - she also gave me a BIG kiss. Another super duper three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!
