@brit, perhaps the American Embassy can help me, right? But that made me think of my first ever apartment in Washington, D.C. The bldg. is now owned by a private company, and I used to think what it would be like if I went in there and said I used to rent an apartment in the bldg. I'm afraid I'd get laughed at, just as my own Embassy in London might do if I said I'm interested in a place on St. James St. My, how times have changed.

Today was the first shave for me in a while as I tend to mom first in the hospital and now in rehab as she fell and broke her hip and arm. I went with the Bison and Alien Shave’s Royal Berry.

Today was my first go with my Bison. I had got it a month back or so after I won a gift card to Karve on an Instagram live. Having heard all the good things about it I snapped it up. I was not disappointed. A smooth, close, comfortable shave! If not for the sound of the blade I would not have known I was shaving. So smooth even ATG. I am very pleased with this razor. I will have to use it a few more times before ranking it in my aluminum razors but it is already off to a hot start!

This was also my first time using Alien Shave. Royal Berry is a delightful scent of Raspberry and White Musk and it does not need a thing more. So fresh and not overly sweet with a warm musk underlying. Wonderful! And the lather sprouted quickly and thickly! Nice and creamy! I look forward to trying more scents from Alien Shave in the future.

All in all a relaxing and soothing shave when it was what was needed. The one day my brother has free to help with mom and Alien Shave and Karve helped to give me some relief. Now back to the rehab smelling and feeling good!

This was one of the most enjoyable showers and shaves I had all week - the Tabac bath soap started the ball rolling, the shaving soap delivered tons of thick, rich, super slick, protective lather, I felt like I was in heaven from that beautiful scent, and it left such a comfortable postshave feeling. The Lubriderm moisturizer added plenty of soothing, the Tabac deodorant is so effective not to mention how it provides more of the scent, and finally the Tabac aftershave followed by the cologne had me smiling and the wife cursing. (I’m just kidding - she doesn’t mind the scent now!) All in all a wonderful three pass super BBS shave that was so much fun!
