    I do not use shave soap (am looking at Cella Brushless), but I keep the shaver head/blade wet and keep the skin wet even if out of the shower the skin is wet. I feel this counts as wet shaving, though not traditional wet shaving or modern wet shaving with foams/gel or brushless cream but alternative wet shaving unlike say I am using an electric/battery shaver dry which I can do but do not because my only gets a full skipped day or at best a 12 hour time from last shave feel though I do use my Philipps Norelco One Touch sometimes if I did not shave for a week before shaving with my current Safe-T-Shaver for the rest.

    Anything goes Artisan Australian

    2 Day growth

    Cold water prep
    Cream/Soap = Australian made Woolly Wash Night at the Pub, straight in the wet brush
    Brush = Pura Setola
    Face lathered adding water as needed
    Razor = Gillette Labs (2)
    Passes = 2 and done
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayer’s rose petal
    ASL = Clubman Reserve Whiskey woods
    ASB = TOBS Royal Forest
    Scent = Bulgari Wood Essence
    Damage = none

    Today I tested the Gillette Labs on a 2 days growth

    Super clean after the first pass. Could have stopped there but went in again for a 2nd pass
    Super-duper close shave, about as good as it gets really

    Surprisingly the Alum gave no feedback despite the very close shave

    There was still that wonderful post shave feel and slickness so it must be the lubricant in the strip on the blade holder

    This will be a good option for a cheap travel companion, with a synthetic brush and a simple tube of shave cream!

    Have a great day everyone

    It seems like you are a Nivea fan Barry!..You don't say!:D, Yeah you are right Chris, Nivea products have always and will be a firm favourite of mine, and are globally available with a very reasonable price tag. Another practical viable, reason why I like them so much.

    Thank you Casey. Ming Shi 2000's meaning model was first made in 2000's or model you have is from the 2000's? You are correct, it was also called the "QShave" which is exactly the same razor( Chinese Merkur Futur clone) with a different name, adding it is now also available under other brand names, like a vast majority of clone shaving products.

    Weishi versions and their clones/sold under different names all have a modification to the design; the shavers are all flip top versions not a double sided snap on.
