Very good shave today. The Proraso foam didn't come out in cloud form, which surprised me as I shook it and dunked it before administering. But enough came out so as to set my face and neck up well enough for the shave. As I wrote in a different post today, I "prepped" with Nivea 4 Men's new natural charcoal scent. I'll see how I feel as I continue in this manner. I never associated the charcoal scent with shaving before, but apparently it's supposed to do a great job in the cleaning persuasion. One pass. No problems. Great finish from the Proraso Refreshing A.S.(the foam was the Refreshing one, too). Super Duper Outstanding.

I'm not sure that weishi done a Merkur Futur clone?. You are correct all the weishi clones are flip top.other Chinese manufacturers do however do the ming Shi 2000s/Shave (Merkur Futur clone) or at least they did.
The latest offering is the Ming Shi 5000s (Merkur Progress clone) which hasn't taken my fancy as I'm quite content with the DE razors that I have in my humble collection.

You just want an easy way to expand your collection with known working models getting a deal on the still made shavers. :D

Today(Tues)was a repeat of yesterday. Essentially the same commentary as yesterday, too. One thing I'll say-I got a better squeeze from the Proraso can than yesterday...came out more cloud-like. All I did was shake the can...no dunking. It was a strong shake. One pass. Clean&clear all over. No damage. Strong finish from the Proraso Green(Refreshing)A.S. As Outstanding As It Gets.

Today's shave is 9.5/10 I had to go back and do touch up on dial 2 though the moustache touchup was on dial 1 but no cuts. I was on Dial 4 the whole time after 3 strokes finding out I was on dial 1. Today is day 7 on bottom of blade overall blade day 21. I am still using the King C Gillette original era blade when the King C Gillette Safe-T-Shaver came out in 2020.

    I skipped yesterday shaving.

I used like always my Gillette slim handle H 2 without the case.

I used my home concoction of hotel small lotion with soap that is now a shaving cream. I did keep shaver head/blade wet the whole time because for the most part I only used the shaving cream one time.

The new book I got on July-31, King C. Gillette, the man and his wonderful shaving device https://www.amazon.com/dp/0316009377/?tag=thshde-20, my early era of King C Gillete blade before the company moved to the thinner Chinese models, and my Gillette shaver are proving they are still a great trio for this month. I am almost done with the book in chapter 10.

The Oldest I have are the early to mid 1960's Adjustable models Via e-Bay, but my dad almost got the Blue Knob Super Speed but then said that is light for what I remember with the Super Speed shaver I had with plastic handle and spotted the Gillette Aristocrat finding out later his being as early as they made the 1946--1948 version. My dad remembered grandpa used an Aristocrat looking head style Super Speed with the black plastic knob (Korean War Conflict Super Speed), Granpa got the model when in the service, almost serving in Korean War Conflict for the Air Force and kept using it until the blades became harder to find in the late 1970's or early 1980's switching to a Gillette Trac II he used until my Grandma passed in 2006, being nearly blind since 1986 he just used the Single blade Disposable Bic for the few parts he did shave under the neck as those yellow or pink blades stood out to him in the local CVS/Walgreens store.

My dad used either a Gilette Twin Trac II or eventually got a Dorco clone when his died/rusted out in the 1990's but had to buy Persona then Dorco blades in the 1990's until the blades became hard to find in 2017 moving to Gillette Aristocrat My dad and mom were in the military/army after basic at Fort Ord when the Humvee was finalized and Night Vison Version 2 was made with the abandon Point and shoot where you are looking for the Night Hawk helicopter as technology was not there yet. This was in 1985-1986.
