My areas school district I went to in middle school and high school, they already started on August 20th but then we get out on May 20th for graduates or 21st for the rest. Reason for the early day is Farmers/Ranchers in the area and the kids who where they get. Also, we do not get some holidays off like other places do for Earth Day where they do a cleanup around the school. Easter/Spring Break as 4 days total with 2 on either side of a weekend for both. Winter Break is only 7 days of actual school unlike most places that get the first week in January as well. Pierre (Pier) South Dakota has one of the earliest release dates of a school besides one Reservation Schoos in South Dakota (Pine Ridge) that are the few that do not start until after Labor Day and get out after the first week in May that do not get the legal amount of school in the USA and they have tried to get Pine Ridge to change but then again the Leaders that Pine Ridge picks by hand they all want the place to revert back to how they lived pre white people interfering and want to keep all other people including tribes not Lakota, Dakota or some Nakota tribes not in USA out of the Black Hills forever.

In your words, a truly eclectic shave Barry. For a minute, I thought you would use the MMOC for your headshave.

I would call it a double blade razor with 2 single edges. Therefore, I wouldn't call it a single edge razor. However, you always have the option not to follow the monthly theme.

I did a quick 2 pass shave for an error-free smooth and comfortable shave. I had very little alum feedback. Finished in the usual way. I am off to a Senior Citizen Picnic later this morning. Free food and a DJ on a nice late summer day. Take care.

Today's shave was a 9/10 because I had to go quick after my shower on dial 4 because of the old blade not really able to be efficient unless on dial 4 or 5. Today is shave 13 on the bottom 27 overall with the same King C Gillette blade. This blade is near the end of its life probably only making it to 28--30 shaves due to how dull it is becoming.

I used as always, my H 2 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

Today I shaved after the shower but remembered to keep the blade/head wet while shaving.

All the shaving items my dad is getting for his birthday on November 16th came in yesterday see quotes below as to the history of when I purchased the items.

I do not own one of these slanted double 1/2 blade shavers but if I had found this before in 2017 before I got my Micro Touch One I might have looked into the shaver given that there was at least a few brands I could easily find at the time on Amazon to fit in the shaver like a Parker model for the shaver the brand made from the normal blades when they came out with the Paker One Blade around 2016 to 2017, a Dorco model in the ST 300 design, Derby Premium, and The Shaving Revolution along with a few other small niche brands doing an OEM from China.

As you now know, the vast majority of my shave set ups are very eclectic, the one in question I had a "near Spanish theme" in mind. By the way, I have used the MMOC in the past for head shaving, which wasn't the most comfortable of choice, however, the result was super close.

The Flair Tip Super Speed is what I got in September-2-2025 on dad for his Birthday on November the 1960 F 2 version, so the grip is a little different on the handle and the flair knob is a bit longer in the flair not having that part looking like the handle on the bottom. I wanted the 1960 F 3 version as my dad is born on November but at the time in 1960 this model was rare for 1960 being a transition model with few of them sold as stores probably sold the older models out until December, this is why you tend to see for sale more trimester 1 & 2 as they were being sold as Father's day presents and then sold for the winter holidays until stores ran out. The model you have is the model made until the black plastic was used over the Aluminum core on the handle part in the late 1960's to save money because of how cheap plastic was if you already had at least one injection molding machine for other parts of the business like with Gillette having at least one, probably more injection molding machines for making the plastic cases since 1953--1954. The shaver needed about 1 hour of cleaning due to being so dirty with shaving cream and some green in parts that was actually built up that would not just a thin layer using a yellow package Clorox wipe with Barkeepers Friend on the wipe. Somehow the

I also got the Personna old blue package from the early 1990's thin blades that came in plastic dispensers 3 packages of 5 blade dispensers to use one in the case as my shaver was missing a reusable Gillette dispenser where now the ones for sale that are not expensive over $20 for the dispensers are gross with rusted blades in them or the dispenser is unusable often due to the dispenser being rusted, then have 50 0f the Personna German Red blades in 5 packs sold on e-Bay. I did have to give my dad one of my modern 2025 Personna blades because one blade was 1/2 out of the dispenser when I bought the unopened packages that opened in transit due to the old over 30 year old glue failing. The one seller said the Personna Blades in the dispensers were from 2004 but I know they are early 1990's due to no website on the package and how the logo looks like the older 1980's Personna logo with the P like this with the rest of the words on it. If this had been more an early 2000's Personna logo this would look like the 1980's logo only without the Line under the P and rest of the words, my dad would get Persona blades for his Twin Trac II or the possible Dorco clone he had to get in the 1990's when his Gillette model from the USA Army died getting all rusty to where a blade would be hard to get on and off the shaver.

Not sure but I think Bakelite and Boltron plastics use a different process that is not injection molding but heating up the plastic for a press in type mold so the plastic handles for the Gillette World War II Tech with the Zemek top and bottom plate that the troops and people at home could buy in this era used a different mold process.
