Today's shave was an 8/10 because I am waiting for the bought in late 2017 Persona 100 pack Made in USA blades to dull in a micro amount after the initial coating came off becuse of no coating having a bunch of micro cuts even going super light on dial 2, I tried Dial 1. The issue is due to skipping Saturday like I always do, I was screwed with the faster growing hairs and the thick ones combined with having a very new blade that the coating came off of despite going super light and using my homemade shave soap/lotion. Today is shave 2 on the top/total with the Personna 100 pack made in USA I bought in late 2017. My shave was like below only without Bart just the bleeding only no squares of TP just wiping until the micro cuts healed. I can't grow as fast as Homer but a day's growth looks just as bad as his after 15 minutes and stays that way for the whole day then the next day it is bad.

I used as always, my H 2 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

Today I shaved before the shower but used water on the blade/head of shaver and a thicker layer of my homemade shave soap/lotion concoction on face for the use of dial 3.

I am so ready to buy the brushless shave cream from Cella on Amazon as I feel a thin clear shave cream will work best for my shaving style and this is not strong on the almond smell some might find not pleasant though I would like an almond smell and probably due to being actual shave cream use it every day knowing it is possibly got tallow in it a product not harmful if swallowed bit by accident unlike others and fact the cream does not work with a bush or lathering would be nice... I just keep wondering would it be a mistake in shaving to buy, like would I actually use the item or move on to brushless that has the ability to work with a lather? All I want is a thin lather not a big one as big I will go too hard not seeing or feeling the hairs.

I just did a 2 pass bloodless shave. I got a DFS result. I didn't need to try to get a BBS result because this blade was a little rough for me so I didn't push it. The alum feedback was considerable on my neck. Finished the shave with my usual routine. Take care.

    (Single Use DE Blade)

    2 days growth
    Cold water shave
    Usual prep
    Scapicchio
    Semogue OC Finest Badger
Tuckaway New Improved 1930s 63.4 grams
    Minora day 1 (and done)
    English leather Cologne splash

Needed three passes today. The Minora is of an unknown age or origin, smooth but not the best match with the Tuckaway which is surprising because the OC razors generally allow me to be done after 2 passes. Lovely smooth error free shave, so no complaints. The soap is nice and hard so what I like to do is press more than I think I might need into the bottom of the shaving bowl, then there is always a “button” left at the bottom of the bowl should I need to thicken up the lather again later on in the shave. Subtle scent. The Semogue did well in holding on to the lather, giving it up only when needed. Great start to a chilly Monday

    Greetings,

Early morning face & head shave.

I can't recall the last time that I used the clubman Pinaud soap and forgot how good this in-expensive soap is.

Because it is almost a croap-like soap it doesn't need blooming before mixing and it provides a good slick protective lather it has a really nice scent not overpowering and a good post shave feel.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Cien Men X-Bolt ASL.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth, & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Good pick up Gary. I stand corrected. This was sold to me as a

Gillette Gold Plated Tuckaway New Improved 1922

and indeed Mr Razor lists it as a New Improved so if that is correct is in in fact ~1922

True Antique iow. I like the shorter handle on these for some reason.

    Thanks Gary

    Awesome shave :)

Roger that. One to add to my wishlist then!
