Greetings, Early morning shave, Something I've learned since becoming a traditional wet shaver is if I had used a shaving brush, shaving soap / cream method when I shaved with Cartridge razors for all those years my shaves would have been 100% better and more enjoyable as back then, shaving was something I hated having to do with a great passion. Another close comfortable shave from the vintage Ever Ready 1912 SE vintage razor to finish my shaving week off wonderfully. The Ever Ready SE razors are amazingly smooth & efficient, which I highly recommend every traditional wet shaver to shave with if giving the opportunity to do so. Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Benjamins Mentholated Bay Rum. My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine. Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Thursday morning: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Crystal day 8 Vintage Hega Shaving Stick (from Sweden) Lubriderm Moisturizer Hega AS Splash This Hega stick is one of the BEST soaps I ever used and it over 100 years old - wow, it still has such a nice scent, it gives awesome lather, and it’s great skincare wise. The Lubriderm moisturizer is perfect as a balm and the Hega aftershave is still available in Sweden - it smells nothing like the stick but it’s still a pleasant scent. Three passes delivered another super duper BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely! Wishing you all a wonderful day - be well and stay safe! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey Lantzman did I read this right? The soap you used today is actually over 100 years old? That is wild!
Yes you read it right Akhi! This soap is well over 100 years old and the performance is absolutely brilliant. I have another antique Swedish stick that’s perhaps even OLDER! I’m gonna use it in a couple of days! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
There’s another Swedish stick called Barnängens Parba and it dates back to 1895. Here’s a picture of it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Betakh! (Of course!) I have quite a few antique soaps such as: Shavallo (from the Uk) Irisch Moos (from Germany) Colgate (from either Sweden or Denmark) Springreiter (from Germany) Dalli Werke (from Germany) Gibbs (from France) And a couple of creams: Kaloderma (from Germany) Cerrus (from Germany) Not to mention some vintage aftershaves from Russia! All wonderful stuff that I wish was still available! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
