The Friday Fact was a repeat of Throwback Thursday. Well, one major difference, after the bldg. maintenance man came to clear out the gunk in my bathroom sink: Taking his advice, he told me to leave the sink water running during my shave. I'll bet I'm the only one here who NEVER left the water running before that. Anyway, it worked. Clean, clear shave again.No incidents of negativity. One pass.Good finish again with Skin-Bracer. As Outstanding As It Gets.

 

For this morning, I went back to shave soap. It was

Fine shave for my first wet shave with the sink water running.About 0:40 at the Loading Dock(the minute length wasn't needed).Clean, clear shave in all areas except for BOTH jaw areas under th ears. Dunno what happened, maybe the running water noise threw me off when I got to those areas. Will have to focus on those areas tomorrow. Nice finish from the Gabels Bay Rum A.S. A little bit outstanding.

Boy, I well remember those Gillette GOOD NEWS disposeABLES. Makes me wonder if SENSOR bought out GOOD NEWS. I declare this an ongoing investigation.

The first Stirling shave of the month so I decided to go with the first Stirling software that I purchased for the den. Such a fabulous scent, it is a shame that it is currently no longer in production. Therefore, I use it sparingly.

Three fabulous error free passes to start the day. This afternoon I have a 49th/50th high school reunion to attend before Anthony, my son, and I fly off to the Southern Den. Looking forward to both events.

They are both models made by Gillette, but the Good News can mostly be found online in 30 pack boxes now unlike the Sensor Disposable being the one found in stores in the smaller packs the blades hang from or in 10 packs. I recently went to my local Walgreens to get stuff only sold at Walgreens/CVS like the Shea Moisture and they had the 10 pack of Sensor Disposable in the package while my local Walmart has the smaller 6 pack of same Sensor Disposable blades in the flat style posterboard type cardboard. The Good News Disposable was maybe at Walgreens but if not a very similar Personna Twin shaver was still there just in an 8 pack with 2 free that in 2017 was crappy as the company moved to using less sharp of blades, not sure if Personna top people have fixed that problem. Anyhow looking online at the Good News Disposable the blades were made closer like a Sensor Disposable but on a Twin trac II style shaver width. Same issue the Twin Trac II has is the blades are closer together like a Sensor shaver that is not an issue with the Taconic Chinese or Personna blades made to fit the Twin Trac II.
