    Two great shaves the past two mornings here in the Southern Den. Both shaves resulted in an extremely close and comfortable shave. This morning’s shave did manage to produce a delay weeper.

    I have a busy morning down here. The air conditioning company is here to do its bi-annual maintenance on our unit. Later this morning I have to take my son to the DMV to pick up his driver's learner permit. Finally, this afternoon help my neighbor take down some storage boxes I. His garage. He is physically no longer able to do so. Perhaps I can sneak in the X3 Bar workout that is on the schedule for today. If not, there is always tomorrow morning. No matter what, Beastmode will be engaged.

    Hope you all have a great day gentlemen.

    Very good shave this morning. At the beginning, I was afraid my brush would be too big for the small Kent tub, but the brush contributed well enough. Solid Rembrandt work all acrosds. Clean&clear shave all over. Light cut on North Porcupine, but nice work elsewhere. 2 passes. The Stoylin A.S. felt nice(Coniferous). Very Outstanding.

    8.45 am this morning.
    Today's shave is a 9.5/10 due to having to go back and do my chin/upper neck area feeling that was off. I did shave on dial 4 the whole time with 0 cuts only a hair pulled out. Today is shave 11 on the top/total with the Personna 100 pack made in USA I bought in late 2017.

    I used as always, my H 2 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

    I shaved after the shower, so I did not need to use any of the shave soap I made from a small hotel lotion and soap/conditioner in the bottle despite skipping a day. I did keep the blade wet the whole time as needed and did a first time full cleanout and did remove some green stuff that was actually building up in 2 of the corners with a toothpick.

    Good evening.

    King C Gillette

    Seaforth Sea Spice Lime SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Lucky Witch Hazel

    This is a very late post of this morning's shave. It was a nice, relaxing session. I only needed 2 passes for an error-free very close and comfortable result. King C Gillette razor shave angle is intuitive in my opinion. I brush loaded the soap and facelathered. I really didn't need to load an abundance of soap to get a nice, thin slick lather. The alum feedback was there, but it wasn't an outlandish amount. Splashed on the witch hazel and that fine matching aftershave to finish my morning shave. Sorry, but I will read and respond to your past posts tomorrow evening. In the meantime, take care.

    The only flaw I have read about the King C Gillette is the grip area is not good, kind of wants to drop out of the hand for those who like to use a thick lather so thick they get a little of the shaving cream/soap on the handle. Due to being a standard Safet-T-Shaver angle like how most models, the King C Gillette is easy to get at the best shaving angle having opened up a box to look at the King C Gillette model.

    The King C Gillette shaver is not a Henson design or that cheap clone made in China sold only on e-Bay new/AliExpress that is made of cheap 6061/6062 aluminum where both have a shaving angle that is made to shave only when at the max angle that most double edge blades can take with the possible exceptions of Feather and the other very sharp Japanese blades able to go further.

    Single use DE Blade

    2 Days growth

    Prep: Cold water shave, Proraso Wood and Spice Pre-shave
    Soap = Wilkinson Shave Stick
    Brush = Semogue Pegasus
    No bowl = face lathering
    Razor = Tuckaway
    Blade = Personna USA (1) bit on the rough side
    Passes = 2
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayer’s rose petal
    ASB = L’Occitane
    ASL = Blue Stratos
    Scent = Blue Stratos
    Damage = None, but because I felt that the Personna is not top of the class I didn’t push things beyond 2 passes

    Good enough for a workday

    Stay well everybody and have a great day

    Great posts Joe. Sounds like Anthony is doing well!

    Thanks Joe

    Another cool setup. That karve handle looks the part and nice and grippy too.

    Relaxing shaves. Aaaah yes, that's what it's all about. Fine shave Joe

    Great shave this morning. Another large brush which fit nicely into the small Kent tub. Clean, clear shave across the board. 2 passes. No incidents of negativity. Positive sign, that. Fince close from Stoylin Coniferous A.S. As Outstanding As It Gets.
