Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Lider Turkish Boar.
Face Lather.
Lather: Derby Shaving Soap Bowl.
Blade: GEM coated. (D5)
Razor: Ever-Ready 1912. (ENG)

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB./ Gummy Traditional Turkish Lavender Cologne.

Early morning shave,

Last outing of the GEM coated. The blade still feels smooth, but I'm going to retire it as 5 shaves from one blade is more than sufficient for me....What more can I ask for?

The Derby soap bowl provides a wonderful dense slick protective lather, which is equal to the shave stick if not better for it's lather density IMHO

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Gummy Traditional Turkish Lavender Cologne.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.

Hi all,
I had a brilliant shave this morning with the Alpha Outlaw Evolution TI.
In my opinion, Steve from Alpha shaving works created a masterpiece with this razor.
It shaved as smooth as butter when paired with a new Wizamet Blade.
Considering the outlaw has no blade feel to speak of the efficiency level of the shave is very impressive.
It definitely won’t disappoint those of us like myself who love efficient close shaving razors.
It’s not the cheapest of razors as with many of the titanium offerings, but in my opinion it’s one that you’ll keep forever if you can get your hands on one.
In comparison to the stainless steel version with a similar handle I felt this one was even smoother shave wise with equal efficiency and of course more nimble with its lighter weight.
All in all a stunning razor in every way (again as always this is just my opinion).

The DLC-Yaqi Oud’s soap is a slick tallow based offering it gave me good cushioning and a nice aftershave feel with a pleasant scent to boot.

Finished off so nicely with Genuine Ogallala bay rum and sandalwood aftershave.

One pass WTG one pass ATG done no touch ups.
No nicks No worries.

Agreed, good use of the Alum Block. I don't want water soap or lather on the handle either, that's asking for trouble. Think Samurai sword with fresh blood on the hilt. I keep a towel handy and the Alum Block. Job done. Easy.

today's shave is a 10/10 and wish I could rank higher because I had only a hair rip out today with a very micro mini cut that healed immediately on moustache area and shaved on dial 4 that was nearly BBS with a really good even closer to BBS on moustache area. Today is shave 12on the top/total with the Personna 100 pack made in USA I bought in late 2017.

I used as always, my H 2 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

I shaved after the shower, so I did not need to use any of the shave soap I made from a small hotel lotion and soap/conditioner in the bottle. I did keep the blade wet the whole time as needed.

Soap = Sterling Margaritas in the Arctic
Brush = Pura Setola
Bowl = White plastic
Razor = Tuckaway
Blade = Astra (1)
Passes = 2 and done
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayer’s rose petal
ASL = Proraso
Scent = Burberry Hero Parfum Intense
Damage = none

Super smooth shave with the Astra. Haven’t use this in a while. Smooth and sharp.
I still feel that a good pre-shave treatment followed by a good lather will give the best results.

I am happy I have an adjustable Safe-T-Shaver now because I can now match my blade dullness to the shaver aggression on the dial to get a near BBS shave by moving the dial as needed. Now with dial 1 so mild I can lessen the cutting issues I have after shave 1 or after 7 depending on the era of Personna 100 pack of USA blades after the coating comes off so the big cuts without reopening cuts are only for a 1 shave or 2 shaves right after the coating comes off if I forget as at this point to go lightly as the blade is still very sharp.

I decided to go for a Fatboy Friday shave. I only needed passes for the head and face for an error-free BBS shave all around. I enjoyed lathering the Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender because the scent easily comes off the puck and a breeze to use. Did have some significant Alum feedback. Finished this shave in my usual manner. Will respond to all your posts later tonight. Take care.

 

A successful Throwback Thursday shave. The Proraso Foam(Refreshing)is getting low-will switch to the red one soon, and re-order the Refreshing for next warm/hot season. Great work across the board. No damage. Fine finish from the Refreshing A.S. As Outstanding As It Gets.
