For today’s shave I went back to my new Wolfman WR3 and to probably my favorite soap and splash set ever in A&E DM Legacy!

The WR3 is absolutely amazing! I love the shave I get with this. I am a fan of SE blades and GEM are so rigid I love the way they slice through my hair. And this razor is so intuitive. I place it to my face and almost immediately I’m at the right angle. Slow, smooth, audibly pleasing strokes with every pass. As I stated before this is already in my top razors!

Legacy is the absolute best set out there to me and I’ll challenge anyone to suggest one that will top it for me. Between the performance of the base and the scent this is my desert island soap and splash! Peter outdid even himself, which is no easy task, with this set! My face feels so damn good and man do I smell good!

2 Days growth
Prep: Cold water prep: 3 x 30 sec soak, Proraso Cypress and Vetyver as pre-shave
Soap = Sterling Margaritas in the Arctic
Brush = Pura Setola
Bowl = White plastic
Razor = Tuckaway
Blade = Astra (1)
Passes = 2 and done
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayer’s rose petal
ASL = Proraso
Scent = Burberry Hero Parfum Intense
Damage = none

Super smooth shave with the Astra. Haven’t use this in a while. Smooth and sharp.
I still feel that a good pre-shave treatment followed by a good lather will give the best results.

The Lea Shave Cream was face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #454 Two-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick C Razor and the Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

MSC Peppermint Lime AS Splash

These Perma Sharp blades are really excellent - they’re very sharp and they seem to be really forgiving. The Peppermint Lime soap and aftershave are wonderful - the scent is exactly what it implies because it’s a delightful blend of peppermint and lime, the soap is a tallow based treasure with some of the BEST lather I ever saw, it’s so slick, the menthol sensation is very potent, and the postshave care is A1. The Diana balm is from Austria and it’s unscented, it’s bone chillingly cold, and it’s moisturizing as well as soothing. The Peppermint Lime aftershave has the same beautiful scent as the soap, and its menthol kick is off the charts. Another tip top three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

A new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend..

Everything in my shave set up worked together excellently resulting in a close comfortable shave with no errors to report...A wonderful performance from the vintage Ever-Ready 1912.

Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Ard Al Zafran Dirham Oud EDP to the chest & pulse points.

My face & precious swede are is feeling smooth & smelling divine.
