I think there was some shaving cream with the green growing on the shaving cream but in other parts that do not have the nickel stripped off, this seems like a cleaning mistake where the seller stopped cleaning after as the seller said I only cleaned it partially. This buildup of material was very easy to remove using a toothpick getting 99% of the shaving cream off and 100% of the green off. Somehow the green without shaving cream was holding the twist knob from working properly but once all gone using a toothpick it worked like it should.

Funny think is all the older shavers have a hard stop on thew twist knob where you can't really keep going unlike the remade clones of these models like the Aristocrat/Milord style Baili and the Weishi short handle models in nickel plaited brass and the aluminum as the Super Speed models these shavers can keep twisting a little too far especially after you have them for 5+ years.

Sorry, this is a late post for this afternoon's shave. Anyway, I had an excellent 3 pass shave, but I really only needed 2 to give me a BBS error free result. I did the extra pass because I had enough later and besides, the scent was great. Had some alum feedback. Finished in my usual way. Take care!

Thanks Mate. I will throw in a Kai tomorrow and see how we go.

So far this month the Feather, the Astra and Iridium have served me the best when paired with the Tuckaway.

The Parker was smooth and sharp enough
    The Chinese Wilkinson was sub-par
The Made in England Wilkinson was a bit better
    The USA Personna disappointed
The Minora was smooth but needed 3 passes
The Euromax made in India was good actually, nice and smooth

These were all fresh blades, day 1, and all did the job, some better than others.

    Love that :)

    Thanks Gary

    and again :)

On this Menthol Monday(9-29), a repeat of yesterday, but for the

    Brush-Green handle, Vanilla knot

I'm trying to focus on that advice I've seen many times(pertaining to the brush)-"Tips Only". Great paint job across the board. Clean, clear shave. I do think I should have done better at my favorite area for mishaps(right sideburn area). Aqua Velva A.S. to close out. Very Outstanding.

Today's shave is a 9/10 due to having 2 cuts on the chin/jawline area probably because I went on dial 6 the entire time. Today is shave 15 on the top/total with the Personna 100 pack made in USA I bought in late 2017.

I used as always, my H 2 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

I shaved after the shower, so I did not need to use any of the shave soap I made from a small hotel lotion and soap/conditioner in the bottle. I did keep the blade wet as needed but that was so limited due to how wet I kept the face after the shower before shaving.
