Thank you Lantzman! I like it. Two years ago, my sister purchased it for me while on her travels in London. Performance is good and It has a really nice scent and I use it sparingly. she bought it from the TOBS store on Jermyn street and her comment was that she never thought a 'piece of soap' would be so expensive.

The Personna blade is, evidently, a replacement for the comfort coated ones that have been available. Lot of chatter about this blade on another board so thought I would try them out. And....it's a nice blade. I got a close/comfortable shave using the Slim Adjustable. Not sure how it will work in other razors but reports are positive. Think I'll just call it the PDG blade. Anyway, nice shave to start the week out with and my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Today is the 29th day of Single Edge SEptember where I use a different single edge razor for each day of the month. Today features a creation of Tom White, the TNNSER.

The PSC Caffeinated Shaving Cream was face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #30 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the TNNSER and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and PSC Caffeinated After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

I hope our friend from Kentucky(the motorcycle man)doesn't get cognizant of my just realizing that.

Menthol Monday’s Major Grand Freeze:

After using a setup like this I think it’ll take just about the entire day for my face to thaw out completely - this Kameelperd soap is something else. The scent is exactly the same as the other two “Kick” soaps - coffee with peppermint notes in such a nice way, it’s also glycerine based, it lathers like there’s no tomorrow, the menthol sensation hits like a sledgehammer, and it’s chock full of skincare. The Stoffel balm is also peppermint scented, just a small amount is needed, it’s also frigid, and the moisturizing as well as the soothing are wonderful. Jaco is a champion artisan, believe me. Last but not least the Floid Vigoroso aftershave is another face freezer with a gorgeous old school barbershop scent. Three passes gave me such a great BBS shave that was lots of fun!

Thanks for asking. It is bay rum, but it's not regular bay rum. There's no clove. It has the bay laurel leaf. It's a green like scent. It reminds me of my Guerlain Vetiver EDT.

Today was my Never Alone shave. This month means a lot to me. I carry project semi-colon with me everywhere I go. The tattoo on my left forearm reminds me that my story is not over. It wasn’t then thanks to the love of my family and friends and I know that in the future that tattoo will remind me and anyone else who sees it or reaches out to me that we are NEVER ALONE! Reach out! Make the call, send the text, dm someone, put a post up on social media, go to the local store, or anywhere where there are other people. Ask for help. We are ALL IN THIS TOGETHER! As Ram Dass used to say when asked the meaning of life:

“We are all just walking each other home.”

We are NEVER ALONE!

This kind of shave is something you would love. The “Kick” soaps have that beautiful coffee/peppermint scent as well as awesome lather and skincare. They’re divided into three menthol levels:

Klipspringer’s Kick which is the mildest.

Kudu’s Kick is a medium to high level.

Kameelperd’s Kick is enough to freeze someone to smithereens!
