I need to amend this answer. It's better to just call it Bay instead of Bay Rum. I'm putting it away and decided to look at the ingredients again. It also doesn't have rum.

how do you like that name taker? I’ve been waiting for paa to get more in stock for what seems like close to a year now. I want it to take my name with an open comb plate.

    Greetings,

    Early face & head shave.

An enjoyable Turkish themed close shave to finish the month off wonderfully.

Derby & Arko are becoming my go to soap choices for my head/dome shaves. The performance slickness, protection & post shave feel that both of these humble soaps provide is excellent.

My reacquaintance with my Vintage SE razors has been a joy.

A enjoyable face & head shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

    RazoRock Black Hawk
    Feather AC Blade

    Humphrey's Witch Hazel
    Tabac After Shave

Today is the last day of SEptember. I end it with my RazoRock Black Hawk razor. That is 30 different single edge razors. Tomorrow I will start Open Comb OCtober and do 31 days with 31 different open comb razors.

For today's shave, the Tabac Shave Soap was face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #30 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the RazoRock Black Hawk and the Feather AC Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thanks for your excellent post. I like the idea of theme razors based on the month's spelling. I once used my Merkur HD 34C for 30 days.

    to close out September:

    prep-Nivea 4 Men Bodywash(in shower)
    lather-Regiment*
brush-Maggard 24 mm. "Marble Handle" synthetic
    razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot DisposeABLE
    A.S.- Royal Copenhagen

    *Top Gun(Draakkar Noir clone)

Fine shave to end this month. This is an underrated artisan(IMO). Doesn't cling to the brush like others, thus more work is required, but it gets the job done.Nice work all over. No damage. 2 passes. Good finish with the A.S. Funny, I forgot the whole name of it until just now. As Outstanding As It Gets.

Y'know, I wonder if my favorite Bay Rum(Stephan)can be described that way. Maybe not, but close. Stephan has SOME clove, but not enough to overpower the overall feel.

You may have missed it, but I had an amendment to my first answer to your question. The RazoRock Black Bay isn't bay rum, as it is absent also of rum. Maybe that's the reason it's so green scented. Actually, the soap itself is dark green in color.
