Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Nivea Men Originals Shave Cream.
Blade: Feather Hi Stainless. (D3)
Razor: Mühle R41. (2013)

Cold Water Face Rinse. / Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's / Alum Rub. / Cold Water Rinse. / Nivea Refreshing Toner. / Blue Stratos Original Blue ASL. / Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Early morning shave,

New shave set up to start the month off.

For my October focus I'll be using various open comb razors for my face shaves paring them together with a variety of DE blades that I haven't had in my blade rotation for some time, and will be using the Gillette Guard cartridge razor for my head/dome shaves.

Starting with the assertive Mühle R41 & Feather Hi Stainless duo mowing through my face stubble with smooth efficiency.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.

Today, I begin 31 days of open comb razors for OCtober. I have planned out 31 different razors both single edge and double edge. I am a sucker for open comb razors. First up is Gillette's Pocked Edition (1914).

The Williams Mug Shave Soap was face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #30 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Pocket Edition (1914) and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Today was my first shave with my newly plated Karve Overlander and my first time using Soap Palooza’s shaving products. They both are amazing!

The Overlander started its life as brass. I sent it into Razor Emporium and had it plated in 24k and wow is it pretty! And shaves amazing with a little more glide. I’m very happy with it.

Soap Palooza has just started making shave products. Another small artisan that is knocking it out! The scent is absolutely amazing! I’m a big gourmand guy and this is absolutely delicious smelling!! It took everything I had not to taste it! And rich, thick lather sprouted almost instantly! Super slick and the residual slickness is one of the best I’ve felt. Their aftershave has my face super soft and supple, and the skin feels amazing! I can’t wait to get the other scents I’ve already ordered! Go try you some! While there grab their body soap which is top notch too! Great feel, not drying and amazing scents!

All in all an amazing shave! Have an amazing rest of the week! And amazing shaves!

I got this brush at QEDUSA.com and I gotta say, its my current favorite brush. The bristles are softer than my Silver tips and the backbone is no joke, and for 52 bucks its a great brush!

The Aristocrat and Iridium are a dream combination. Super easy, super smooth, even better than with the Tuckaway OC I used in September
