I need to next time put the blade in my Twin Stropper so the blade will spin properly not just every 2--3 spins. This recent use first 10--12 spins the blade was not spinning all the way, just every 2--3 spins would do a full revolution before I took out the blade then put it back in this time getting the blade in all the way so the blade would spin properly every time I was spinning the Stropper part not just every 2--3 spins.

Passes = 2 +
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayers rose petal
ASB = TOBS Royal Forest
ASL = Proraso tinged with Oud drops
Scent = Arabic Oudh. Strong hint of grapefruit to my nose

A not bad start to OUDtober. The Oud has lost some of its scent if my memory serves me correctly, but a great slick lather was achieved.

The Aristocrat and Iridium are a dream combination. Super easy, super smooth, even better than with the Tuckaway OC I used in September.

Today's shave is a 9/10 due to re-opening the cut on the very top of the upper lip to moustache area that I figured I was going to re-open. I shaved on dial 4 for almost the entire face after seeing for a few strokes how dull the blade was on dial 1 by accident. Today is shave 17 on the top/total with the Personna 100 pack made in USA I bought in late 2017.

I used as always, my H 2 or 1962 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

I shaved after the shower, so I did not need to use any of the shave soap I made from a small hotel lotion and soap/conditioner in the bottle. I did keep the blade wet as needed, face like usual with after shower shave did not need to be kept wet.

it's a Minora shaver .so open comb british 1935 to 45.this is where the brit flat bottom techs originated.they were sold as a a gillette,nacet,7 oclock,minora,and others..thenon gillette names were sold at different price points and euro countries.

I have to use this soap/scent more often. It is such a refreshing, relatively like scent that tends to stick around for a long time. The scent profile is as follows: “Crisp citrus, exotic oud, golden amber, rich sandalwood and white musk.”

Excellent three pass shave. I managed a super close shave despite feeling the blade tug a little. It has been binned.
