That is a rare shaver, the Executive Adjustable 1950's era where the thought was most of them like the Gillette Aristocrat Adjustable 1960's era were both made mostly for retiring Gillette employees in the era with a limited run for the public sometime in latter part of the run like when Gillette moved over to the Twin Trac II in 1972--1973 and later to the Atra/II model in gold paint and later the Contour II in gold paint before stopping the program when Procter & Gamble bought the company in the early 1990's. Before WWII in the 1930's the person retiring from Gillette usually got a Sharton with special retirement case and after WWII but before 1955 got either an Aristocrat or Milord depending on the year with special engraved case. Before the 1930's there was not really a program due to how new the company was and trying to keep up with demand in the 1920's especially once ladies stated shaving around 1923 onward.

Today's shave was a 9.5/10 still using dial 5 for a quick shave today having to go back and do the underside of my chin. It was shave 6 on the bottom, 24 in total with the Personna 100 pack made in USA I bought in late 2017. I used as always, my H 2 or 1962 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case. I shaved after the shower so none of home-made shaving lotion/soap combo from the hotel squeeze lotion bottle for shaving today, but I did keep the blade wet as needed. The blade was still on day 5 smoother because this bottom side got stropped more due to not having the blade all the way into the Twin Stropper during that stropping with the first 10--12 turns of the handle where the blade only spun about every 3 shaves in this period before I took the blade out and put it in all the way. I think if I use my King C Gillette blades that are made in China, I will strop the blade I am going to use with the device to remove that micro burr left on by the manufacturing process.
Came back with Saturday's lineup. The Agar is beginning to run out, thus I may have a look at A&E's AGARWOOD, but I think I can go for a little longer with the Stoylin Agar. I also have Stoylin's Oud Sigma, which I like better than Agar. Clean clear shave across the board, which includes better work at the right sideburn area. No pain. 2 passes. Fine finish with the Agadir A.S., which also is getting low. As Outstanding As It Gets.
The angle of the sun changed with Labor Day and then changed even more with the Autumnal Equinox, so it is full beard time! Man, a year of time, buying a new house and moving really aged my whiskers. What used to be sort of roan colored is now pretty much all white, but I've been told by SWMBO that it looks good on me! So I'm shaving my neck and a few stray whiskers on my cheeks every three days or so. My old Gillette NEW LC is doing all of the duty and does a damn fine job. My scalp gets the treatment about twice a week and my students seem to like the totally bald teacher more than the sort of hairy teacher. Sundays and Wednesdays with the LC and all is good. I discovered a container with some Dusy Cabinett in it and SWMBO loves the way I smell. She did ask me how often I change my "razor", so she got a short lesson on my DE razors and how little it costs me now. I'm not sure she believed me when I told her that the LC was manufactured prior to WWII. I tried to explain that I bought about 400 blades around 5 years ago for somewhere near $40 and those blades should last me for at least another 5 years, if not many more than that. I seem to use about 1 blade per week with 4 total shaves with the Personna, Astra and Rapira blades in my stash. Guess I'll worry when I hit SS age. I will take a few pics sometime in the future and try to post them here...
Hi Gray My knowledge on these razors and quite a few of the other Gillette’s is web based. And we all know how reliable or unreliable that can be I used the razor again last night this time with a 7 o’clock platinum black it shaved even better than with the Wizamet. Which I suppose was no real surprise I myself consider the platinum black on par with a feather blade on the first shape but as always this is my opinion. It’s all cleaned up now with a light oil back to My razor box with to sleep with the rest of his friends rest of his friends. Thanks for the info mate Cheers.
