i would at least let them know and see how they respond.if they don't have a reasonable solution (ie discount?) or replacement then i would ask for a full refund..there should be zero flaws in top shelf items in my book.some folks have to save up to buy such nice luxuries, and the quality should reflect that.just my 2 cents..
You bought what should have been quality not JUNK....JMHO Contact seller, if they do not reply and make your happy. Keep a LOG of attempts to resolve, and if youn paid by CREDIT CARD, Dispute Defective merchandise. Make sell pick up, and pay for return.
I've been using a Vulfix boar lately. The knot is 23mm and virtually the entire knot is a big cowlick swirl. At first I was miffed but I kept it and I like it. But that little boar probably cost me what the sales tax was for your Simpson. I think it looks kind of cool, but I really like what Brit said. Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk
To be clear, I do not own this. A member on another forum is selling it and claims it came from Simpson looking like this. I am dubious. That's all.
I wouldn't buy it if it was pictured that way on Simpson's site, but that's a lovely handle. Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk
I wouldn't buy any new brush pictured that way from the manufacturer's site, especially a synthetic at Simpson prices. 2nd hand, you sometimes make allowances for use and wear if the price is right.
