thank you Chris.i have read that the early #15's tend to be mild shavers in general,but each can be unique shave wise,due to tweaks,wear,assembly,monday or friday razor,etc..

 

fine start to the week gentlemen

 

Today's shave was a 9.5/10 as I had to use dial 4 due to skipping Saturday and this was almost right on being a little bit back of BBS, might have to tomorrow use dial 5 if it is worse than today's as this is the max I like to leave the hair. I had a hair rip out yesterday, Sunday due to skipping Saturday but going over the spot no issues of reopening the cut. Today was shave 5 on top/total for the FEIYU blade.

The FEIYU I am finding out with sample of 1 blade is a well-made blade almost like the modern no label Personna 100 made in USA pack in the thinner thickness with similar quality to the Personna 100 made in USA pack is just very mild. The benefits of using an adjustable shaver are, I can use many different types of blades from mild to more aggressive up to a point.

I used, as always, my H 2 or 1962 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

I shaved before the shower, but I did not use my shave lotion/soap home concoction on my face however, I kept the blade wet as needed. I did like most days since late 2017 a partial clean opening up the shaver in middle of shave to keep going before the final clean at the end.

 

Looking later I found the same seller I bought from in 2017 when you get the USA looking box it can be missing the Made in USA logo now with and has some poorly made blades in them that say either Made in USA or Made in Germany in same box almost as if they are clones or the rejects of both countries that can be worse than they should be from 2018--2019 onward, while the Made in Germany can by mistake have the USA stamp on the German made a light quality Control oops in the wrong stamp on the blades as one comment found out when getting in 2023--2024 calling the company headquarters questions and comments line. There are other sellers on Amazon that are selling the real deal not the factory rejects/fakes, as they have seen these fakes/factory reject sets so they are who I would buy from on Amazon outside of a dealer who is selling the real items on e-Bay, able to sell for slightly less due to lower overhead or if Amazon raises the price again so each individual blade is $0.25.

 

I have no experience with the FEIYU blades so I am learning as I go on using the blades.
