:thanks: I am doing my best with a blade that is not the best blade for me due to how mild it is but for travel when I need a new blade and do not want have to have to wear a blade in tad from the sharp problem after the coating is gone to avoid having to be shaving slower/more careful, this FEIYU blade will be perfect for that role then.

Today's shave was a 9.5/10 as I had to use dial 5 after using dial 4 on checks, neck, jawline due to how the blade was not cutting well and this was right on getting the next level up from nearly BBS. I did have a hair rip and micro cut on moustache area due to going too aggressive with the blade when going up 1 dial number. Today was shave 5 on top/total for the FEIYU blade.

The FEIYU I am finding out with sample of 1 blade is a well-made blade almost like the modern no label Personna 100 made in USA pack in the thinner thickness with similar quality to the Personna 100 made in USA pack is just very mild. The benefits of using an adjustable shaver are, I can use many different types of blades from mild to more aggressive up to a point.

I used, as always, my H 2 or 1962 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

I shaved before the shower, so I did not need to use my shave lotion/soap home concoction on my face, where I kept the blade wet as needed and at first wet my face down. I did like most days since late 2017 a partial clean opening up the shaver in middle of shave to keep going before the final clean at the end but did the partial clean 3 times during due to how mild the blade is and easily hair clogs the shaving blade where normal is 1--2 times.

I love some of your classic setups where the items around the shaver look like they could have come from the 1950's or 1960's.

Even better. Now what I was talking about the shaving creams, aftershaves and shaving brushes that I know are modern because one the Creams/Aftershaves do not last that long unless shaving soaps in puck form and even that is a gamble if they are using actual ingredients or the bushes are newer because it is just easier to use modern brushes then to reknot some brushes especially some of the old plastic handle models that can't be redone.

Of course I know a number of these companies making the extra items for Safe-T-Shaving/straight edge are going to try to make the products look like they came from that era or the brand like Cella or even others like King C Gillette are still using the same logo of these eras or a very similar one if using the full name of King C Gillette rather than just Gillette with the logo of that era.

The Bolzano going wonderfully on it's third outing, still feeling smooth and efficient. I'll take it to it's fourth outing in my Thursday shave then put it into retirement. The Bolzano blades have always gave me good longevity.

Nie shave to close out(until next time)the Clubman team. I neeed to make a correction on the brush, it was the Maggard 24 mm. Marble Handle synthetic. I got enough of the soap well before the minute time was up. Clean, clear shave all across the board. No damage. Boy, did I get a tingle from the Clubman A.S. More so than yesterday's. A tingle is better than nothing, I have to believe. As Outstanding As It Gets.

yes, most of the software is modern, other than 196o's vintage williams soap and my shulton old spice aftershave which is late 1960's vintage also...soaps can last decades..and some aftershaves/colognes if stored correctly, which most weren't..

:thanks: I am learning as I go with the FEIYU blade so not having very many cuts is a big bonus with the new blade brand not sure how the blades are going to act, more small single hairs ripping out than I would like but that is due to how mild the shaving blade is and going too aggressive for the 2 times this happed.

    Good evening.

    Gillette Heritage DE Razor
Gillette 7 o'clock Super Premium DE Blade (6)
    Hembree/Maggard Timberwolf Synthetic Brush
Music City Suds Lavender SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Lucky Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 2.67 Days
    Dome Turf: 7 Days

I was meeting Joe Carbone for breakfast this morning so I had to be clean-shaven all around. Did 2 passes on the face, neck and dome for an error-free comfortable shave. Did a face lather with the brush picking up a small soap portion so that the only thing left to do is add a little water as the lather explodes into a rich, creamy substance that is suitable for shaving.
I had very little alum feedback. Splashed on the witch hazel and that wonderfully scented matching aftershave. Having a great shave and meeting Joe @JACarbone was a great start to my day. Take care.
