    2 Days growth

    Cream/Soap = TOBS OUD,
    Brush = Old Vulfix 20 mm
    Bowl = small white porcelain
    Razor = Gillette No 77 thin handle tech 1945
    Blade = Henckel’s Day 6
    Passes = 2 and some belated touch ups
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayers rose petal
    ASB = TOBS Royal Forest
    ASL = Proraso with Oud
    Scent = Burberry Hero

    Henckels still felt pretty good on day 6 which is more than I get from most blades. Smooth, hint of some dragging, time to bin and move on. Fantastic start to a cool day in Perth

    Have a safe and pleasant day everyone

    Razor: Yaqi DOC Mellon Razor Head./Schmidt R10 Handle.

    Post:
    Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+ Witch Hazel./Gummy Traditional Turkish Tobacco Cologne./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

    Greetings,

    Early morning shave,

    The Yaqi DOC Mellon head ("The grand shave king self lubricating razor clone") razor head paired up with the Bolzano SI blade makes a mild yet efficient razor & blade duo. Another great shave to finish the month off wonderfully. My highlight of the month has been my reacquaintance with the Mühle R41, which has provided me with what I consider BBS shaves.

    Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

    My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.;)

    Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.:cool:

    Marvellous end to the month for you Barry. Tobacco Cologne sounds interesting, and of course that Mellon Head looks the part too.

    Great Throwback shave today-winding down the month of OUDtober with Agar, from Stoylin. I'm near the end on the Agar soap, which makes me think about a new Oud for next OUDtober, perhaps Agarwood, and I forget the company who has it, for now. @Primotenore might know, as I've seen him list it for his shaves. I'll keep OUD SIGMA around(also from Stoylin). The Jayaruh did great, scooping out the soap. Clean, clear shave all over the map. No damage. 2 healthy passes. Very pleased. Love the wood look today.

    Oh, Fun fact is I have seen a model made by Yaqi That is very similar reproduction to the Gillette New Raised Flat Bottom only was a 3 piece not a 2 piece like most of the era for that model.

    Today's shave at 3:30 pm was a 9.5/10 as I had to use dial 5 but only got as high as I want to ever go, no cuts, despite skipping a day due to being sick, however tomorrow I am using dial 6. Today was shave 6 on top/total for the FEIYU blade.

    The FEIYU I am finding out with sample of 1 blade is a well-made blade almost like the modern no label Personna 100 made in USA pack in the thinner thickness with similar quality to the Personna 100 made in USA pack is just very mild. The benefits of using an adjustable shaver are, I can use many different types of blades from mild to more aggressive up to a point.

    I used, as always, my H 2 or 1962 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

    I shaved after the shower, so I did not need to use my shave lotion/soap home concoction on my face, where I kept the blade wet as needed and at first wet my face down. I did like most days since late 2017 a partial clean opening up the shaver in middle of shave to keep going before the final clean at the end but did the partial clean 2 times in middle of shave.

    I almost gave my shave a 9/10 due to how uneven the shave was but changed my mind due to no cuts or hairs ripped out giving that extra 0.5 to the rating. The single FEIYU blade I have tested is made well just not quite for my hair type, perfect for the sensitive areas like the neck or good when new but not quite for my fast or thick hairs as I have both issues of normal hair but fast growing and thick hairs that can also be curly at times if left forgotten that are normal speed growing.

    Real nice Friday Fact shave, on this Halloween. A minute at the Loading Dock. Clean, clear shave all over the map. No damage. 2 healthy passes. I wonder if I am grandfathering the Stoylin Agar, as it appears the Doc took it off his list. If I'm wrong, please correct me on that. Fine close with the Agadir A.S. As Outstanding As It Gets. See ya next OUDtober(coursse I'll probably do a few Ouds as the cold weather progresses).
