I decided to pick an easy setup for my Fatboy Friday shave. Two passes gave me a smooth and comfortable shave. Tabac provides a nice, creamy slick lather. I had minimal alum feedback. Finished with the witch hazel and the old-fashioned barbershop aftershave treatment. I will review and comment on your posts later this evening and of course, write a new intro for November. Today's shave at 3:30 pm was a 9.5/10 as I had to use dial6 then dial 1 on other blade got 2 micro cuts one with the old blade one with the new blade. Today was shave 7 on top/total for the FEIYU blade that I had to finish 1/2 the work with the 2017 Personna USA 100 pack day 1 topside.

The FEIYU I am finding out with sample of 1 blade is a well-made blade almost like the modern no label Personna 100 made in USA pack in the thinner thickness with similar quality to the Personna 100 made in USA pack is just very mild. The issue is the FEIYU blades die early as if the metal is softer because the blade was all jagged on both sides. The benefits of using an adjustable shaver are, I can use many different types of blades from mild to more aggressive up to a point.

I used, as always, my H 2 or 1962 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

I shaved after the shower, so I did not need to use my shave lotion/soap home concoction on my face, where I kept the blade wet as needed and at first wet my face down. I did like most days since late 2017 a partial clean opening up the shaver in middle of shave to keep going before the final clean at the end but did the partial clean 2 times in middle of shave.

The blade died today, makes me think those who get less then 10 days from the Personna Made in USA 1oo pack either the older or newer blades, they will only get if lucky 1 single full shave from this blade, in fact most would probably get rid of the entire pack of blades due to being that mild midway through the first shave with the first blade.

I have decided the FEIYU Chinese blades are for emergency use, still better than the Dorco ST 300/STP 301 for my face hair.
