Thank you Gary....The Gabels Original smells in a way like Mennen Skin-Bracer. When I made that 3-way Gabels order(Orignal, Lime, and Bay Rum,) I figured I'd like the Bay Rum best of them, but the Original is looking better with each use. A little too much clove in their Bay Rum, but it isn't blended in well with other ingredients, like Stephan Bay Rum.

Very good shave this morning-simple one, with just Barbasol(Original)and the Russian Leather A.S. from the Shave Den store. Clean, clear shave all around. One pass. No incidents of negativity. It's getting to be "Russian Leather" kind of weather around here! Super Duper Outstanding.

Boy, I'd have a tough time deciding what should be my "only stuff". That's why we're all here, I guess :).

What exactly is Guy Fox day? I know a northern Irish guy who tells this holiday involves bonfires in Northern Irland. In the UK, he said it is mostly fireworks in the bigger cities but in country is again the bonfires.

November 5: Late post for Nov 3 shave

    Good morning.

    Gillette Heritage DE Razor
Gillette Super Platinum DE Blade (7)
    Rockwell Synthetic Brush (not pictured)
    Tabac Sk
    Stirling Alum Block
    Lucky Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 2 Days

Yesterday, I worked the Election and that was a very long day, hence, I didn't report Monday's shave until today. Anyway, did a 2 passs shave with an error-free comfortable and smooth result. The Gillette Super Platinum is still going strong after 7 shaves. The alum feedback was minimal. Finished with the witch hazel and the P-C aftershave treatment. Will catch up reading and replying to all of your posts this evening. Take care.

Casey 1988, post: 2165273, member: 24504"]Today's shave was a 10/10 as I used dial 2 with 1 single hair ripped out. I got a full BBS today as expected on dial 2 after round 2. Today was Personna USA 100 pack day 4 topside/total.

I used, as always, my H 2 or 1962 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

I shaved after the shower, so I did not need to use my shave lotion/soap home concoction on my face, but I kept the blade wet as needed and face was wet from shower. I did like most days since late 2017 a partial clean opening up the shaver in middle of shave to keep going before the final clean at the end but did the partial clean 2 times in middle of shave.

Yes, now that I think about it, the nursery rhyme I learned as a kid about the Gunpowder Plot went:

"Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
    Gunpowder Treason and Plot.
    I see no reason
    Why Gunpowder Treason
    Should ever be forgot."

February would have completely ruined the entire verse...

Nice shave, setup and photo, Gary.

I have to ask though: How does the Razorrock Gamechanger fit into your "Numbered November" scheme?

I believe that ".84.p" refers to the blade gap -- so that's thin, Gary. But you go right ahead and call it a numbered razor if that makes you happy.. ;)

yes sir it is,but it also distinguishes it from its' brothers, the .68 p,the .76p and the 1.05p,all called gamechanger, soo ..:D a technicallity..all in fun, just like my numbered/named soaps and splashes.all counts for my No.vember :)

RR gamechager? I forget what RR stands for. Is this the Royal Regents? Nice setup of RR the whole shave.
