    Right, this is the only modern model you have but I always see on most sites except the companies website RazorRock as one word that is why this did not register for me. :signs081:

    Thanks John, I have thought about the Henson's but never was sure which one to get, so I gave in to indecision!
    Was never sure how the cork handle on the Rocca would hold up so I opted for the black one instead.

    Thanks Gary

    Fine shave, in Oxford blue

    Nice shave Joe. 7 days from one blade is good going in my book

    fine RR shave all the way!

    Thanks Joe

    Lovely fall theme again and another perfect shave!

    Cream/Soap = T&H Sandalwood
    Brush = Every-Ready 200
    Bowl = Timeless Black
    Razor = Gillette Empire French Set Goodwill ’31 – ‘35
    Blade = Euromax (1)
    Passes = 2 and done

    This razor has a bit of bite to it, not sure if it is the sharp contours to the teeth or the blade exposure, vey efficient with a fresh blade though

    Interesting Throwback shave today-I'm glad of my choices, but I don't get much soap per pass, so I'll try a second pass tomorrow. I also should have used a little more of the aftershave. Thus, I got less of the BN scent than usual. The shave result itself was quite good. Clean and soft across the board, as expected from a Bill Neumann product. No incidents of negativity. Just more "oomph" needed tomorrow is all. Pretty Outstanding.

    I was going to go 9/10 for the cut and micro hair rip but the BBS canceled out the micro cut, the hair rip nope as that was one on my chin, so it took a while to heal but was just a single hair that got missed or grew quicker than the rest.

    Today's shave was a 10/10 as I used dial 2 with 1 single hair ripped out. I got a full BBS today as expected on dial 2 after round 2. Today was Personna USA 100 pack day 5 topside/total.

    I used, as always, my H 2 or 1962 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

    I shaved after the shower, so I did not need to use my shave lotion/soap home concoction on my face, but I kept the blade wet as needed and face was wet from shower. I did like most days since late 2017 a partial clean opening up the shaver in middle of shave to keep going before the final clean at the end but did the partial clean 2 times in middle of shave.

    After Using the FEIYU blade I appreciate using a less mild and way soft stainless steel blade.

    I am aware of the model/company. I would not buy any model unless it is butterfly for easy cleaning in middle of the shave to keep going before the final clean as I clog most shavers, though I have only really ever used in Safe-T-Shavers, the small style of closed comb shavers but if the openings of the shaver right after the comb are more open than what Gillette has ever done, then maybe they might work better but even then they would most likely clog up.

    If I were to design a model of shaver it would be a version of the Henson's models of shavers the 2--3 main aggression levels just made butterfly for easier opening with a more standard handle as I do not think in this Henson design an adjustable shaver could be made in any type, be it screw on top piece or butterfly. the part I do not get is why more brands do not use the Henson's style of open channels for shaving bottom plates, unless that is kind of harder to do for shavers.

    Well, it's about time I posted a shave immediately after one. Lol! I really needed to clean myself up today.
    Did 2 passes on both the face and dome withsome touchups on the noggin for an error-free BBS result. I am almost finished with this puck. Although it is slightly scented, it does provide a slick lather as long as it is well hydrated. Had some alum feedback all around. Finished with the witch hazel and the matching aftershave. Off to face the world. Take care.

    For the Friday Fact, a repeat of yesterday's Throwback Thursday. I stuck with doing just the 1 pass, but gave myself a little more of the Bill Neumann shaving cream than yesterday. I don't get as much coming out as I do with Barbasol, Gillette, or good ol' Rise, but I can get enough onto my face and neck for a fine shave. I guess what that means is it doesn't come out as fast as with the others. Clean, soft shave all around. No damage. A little more BN aftershave than yesterday too, and that improved things. Very happy with this shave, but the BN shaving cream has been a learning experience for me. I like it, though.Super Duper Outstanding.
