Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Men Energize Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Boar.
Face & head Lather.
Lather: Boots Original shave Stick.
Blade: Amazon Solimo. (D2)
Razor: Merkur 34C.

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+ Witch Hazel./Boots Freshwood ASL + ASB.

Remembrance Sunday shave.(UK)

In honour to the fallen heroes of all wars past & present'....'All politicians around the world should make it their duty to visit war memorials to be reminded what happens when politics fails'.

Another shave where everything worked together wonderfully....As always the now no longer available shaving assortments Boots Trio was a joy to use making my remembrance Sunday morning shave a pleasurable experience.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Boots Freshwood ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth, & smelling divine.

Not sure where I got them, maybe samples? I find them quite mild and smooth, made in India, sort of a middle of the road blade, pretty good actually.

Good to know.

 

For today's shave, first time in a while I used a brush! Reminds me of the days before joining here when I did can-shaves all the time. Anyway, it was also the first time in a while I used Stoylin Spice, as the soap appeared a bit sticky.Took care of that persuasion well enough with the brush-now it looks back to normal. I'm winding down with the Spice, then I'll be ready for that MSC that I'm told smells just like Shulton's brand(the original). Nice shave with the Stoylin Spice A.S. As Outstanding As It Gets.

 

I sure wish Rise Superfoam makes a comeback. Especially the website from which I made my big order many years ago.

 

Or a possibly worse deal in that the item is still made but changed for the worse, like the King C Gillette blades. The quality went down when Gillette was able to get the Super Blue from China after the Corona Virus and no longer had to import the other brand to put the laser wording on one both sides.

Fortunately, the modern no logo made in USA Personna 100 pack are about the same blade as the original 2020 to mid 2021 King C Gillette blades and last 30--35 as the original King C Gillette only last 30 shave max with the least the original King C Gillette shaves I get is about 28 shaves so I am lucky with the new blades, just the having to make a mark on one side with a Sharpie/Sharpie Xtreme and touch it up as needed so I can use up each side is something I should not have to do but...if this means I get a better blade for the same price or around the same price, it is worth having to do the work for how good a shave those modern no logo made in USA Personna 100 pack blades give.

Nice Italian shaving cream and aftershave setup, the only way that could be better is having the Proraso brush.
