Today's shave was a 9/10 as I used dial 4 with only a hair rip out and 2--3 micro mini cuts with the shaver. I was able to get the neck area and only have 1 major cut from the area with the rest these so tiny of cuts they were not cuts at all just healed right away. Today was Personna USA 100 pack from 2017, day 11 topside/total.

I used, as always, my H 2 or 1962 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

I shaved before the shower, but only used water on my face and kept the blade wet as needed. I did not need to do like most days since late 2017 a partial clean opening up the shaver in middle of shave to keep going before the final clean at the end, only the final clean. I did have to shave while after the shower on two parts of the face before another final cleanout and drying before done.

At least Brit gave us all a place to go that is not Badger & Blade as members at least 2/3 maybe even 3/4 seem to be into very thick lathers of 1 inch or 2.5 cm for current still posting members and about 1/2 of the group only using Feather Blades of the current still posting members probably due mostly to the too thick lathers.

Very good shave this morning, to kick off the week. Boy, that soap from The Wet Shave Store leaped onto my badger brush(Campbell's). Always a nice way to begin. I still had problems at North Porcupine, though...same as yesterday in that there was no pain, but the redness just showed up. Elsewhere, all was fine. I think that soap(their Barbershop scent)is called El Pelequero. Nice one-it's from their Essentials group. 2 passes. Great finish from Pinaud Clubman A.S. The size I have is similar to that used in barbershops. Too bad the drugstores just have the regular size(6.0). Course 6 is better than zero. Pretty Outstanding.

    Today's shave was a 9/10
as I used dial 4 with only a chin/jawline cut from the day I messed up my neck that and a cut on the Moustache area from too sharp an angle, no real cuts on the neck screwup of Wednesday last week just a micro cut that healed right away same on moustache for a hair rip out. Still a good almost BBS. Today was Personna USA 100 pack from 2017, day 12 topside/total.

I used, as always, my H 2 or 1962 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

I shaved before the shower, but I did not use water on face however, I kept the blade wet as needed. I did not need to do like most days since late 2017 a partial clean opening up the shaver in middle of shave to keep going before the final clean at the end, only the final clean.

    Good evening.

    GEM Micromatic Open Comb Razor
    GEM SE Blade
    MrEE Tuxedo Brush
    Tabac Stick
    Gentlemen's Nod Zaharoff Signature AS

Did a two pass error-free close and comfortable shave. I went with the Tabac Sk because I was a little pressed for time. Had some alum feedback. Finished with the witch hazel and the aftershave treatment. Take care.

Every once in awhile, shaves don't go according to plan. Try, try again is a moot point because you have to shave again.
