Oh, wow. No, I hadn't heard. Dang. This has been a great place to hang out and chat with people. Sad to see it go. I'm on Instagram with the same username if anyone wants to keep in touch we me.
I also just joined there. Not sure how much I'll be over there but I at least check it out. Again same user name as hear. And it even brought up my same avatar automatically somehow. Kinda cool but surprising.

Received my E4 Fatboy and shaved with it for the 1st time a couple days ago. This one looks and works pretty good. got 2 vintage razors now, the new-type long comb which I think I like the best due to my preference for open combs, and this beautiful fatboy. My only complaint is I wish I could break it down to clean it. My RAD dictates me to break the razor down after shaving, remove the blade, and clean and dry it all.
very cool.being an E4 it has a screw in the end of it's handle.the proper tool comes available once in a while on the bay,i would review "how to" videos on you tube before attempting.the later f-3 up fatboys have a circlip instead of a screw,a little trickier to take apart..a good soak in just boiled hot water and Dawn detergent will clean the innerds and a good scrub with Dawn and an old toothbrush will take care of the rest..
