Thanks, I know now from experience with my Gillette Adjustable 1960's era to not go up too soon in numbers keeping most blades at dial a 1 if they are as sharp as a Personna made in the USA 100 pack then to not stay on numbers too long either if I am getting a below a sharp shave. Flipping the blade to other side for the Gillette Adjustable 1960's era is about the same number of shaves for me at 14--16 for better made blades as flipping a blade to the other side for a Gillette Super Speed standard/modern clones of the standard Super Speed or a Gillette Aristocrat.

Boy, did I get a great shave from Chiseled Face! I think this was the company it seemed like everyone was using when I signed on in here. I can see why. Course over time I've used different preps, maybe that helped me today. Havingsaid that I did get a "red ball sunset" at the middle of my neck, which was upsetting, but the thing easily went away with the cold-water rinse and A.S. Otherwise, clean and soft shave. 2 passes. Pleased, overall., Very Outstanding.

    Greetings,

    A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

Everything in my shave set up worked together excellently. A wonderful shave to finish the month off on a high.

The Palmolive classic shave stick never fails to provide me with such a slick protective lather in a short space of time with a superb fragrance...

For the whole duration of December I'll be using the Indian made Pearl SBF-11 TTO DE razor for my face shaves to familiarise myself to it's characteristics again after the long hiatus of not adding it to my razor rotation pairing it up with the Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) Blue pack DE blades.

For my head/dome shaves I will be using the Parker Adjustable Injector Razor paired together with the Parker injector PTFE blades.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.

    2 Days growth

Repeat of 2 days ago. The Permasharp is still doing well on Day 3
I will give it another outing
Beard and back of neck: No damage
The Rocket has a nice grippy handle
The Cella doesn’t seem to leave as much soap scum in the basin as other soaps which is a bonus

Have a great Sunday one and all

Thank you Chris..."eclectic stuff " is my shaving set up moto. I have such a variety of eclectic shaving assortments that I now just randomly pick my set ups on sight. I intend to feature the Cella Extra Extra Bio Organic Aloe Vera Shaving Cream & matching ASL in my set ups sometime over December, both I've infrequently used I have two tubs one hardly used, and another completely unused like lots of my other soaps & creams.

Stick with the Permasharp they are excellent blades. + 1 on the Semogue boar, love the burgundy keyhole handle.:love055:...Semogue handles are far superior to Omega ones, and Omega knots are far superior to Semogue Knots IMHO.

Today's shave was a 9/10 as I used dial 1 then switching when using other side due to chatter but still getting 2 main cuts and while achieving a full BBS shave. Today was Personna USA 100 pack from 2017, day 4 topside/total. I do flip the blade over around 16 and count the flipped side amount with also a total overall.

I used, as always, my H 2 or 1962 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

I shaved before shower so I did use foaming generic soap in the Dial pump as base with Shea Moisture all hair conditioner on top, but I still kept the blade wet as needed. I forgot to do like most days since late 2017 a partial clean opening up the shaver in middle of shave to keep going before the final clean at the end, just did the end and this is probably part of what lead to the cut

I use hair conditioner to shave my head occasionally. Even though I shave my head, each time I shower I wash my scalp with baby shampoo and occasionally a hair conditioner. It may seem strange, but it keeps my head/dome in great condition.

Cool. Let's see the Cella in December, TDS's last month

I use the Cella shave cream as a a preshave, and must say the initial two uses from the tube seemed a bit, what shall I say, lumpy bumpy, also like exfoliator, maybe it's just because it's a new tube. Works well though when thinned down and also has that nice Cella scent

    Thanks Barry.
I do like the boars with harder soaps, badgers with croaps

Thanks Casey, the Cella is good stuff, it is worth a try
