Wednesday morning: Warm shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Perma Sharp day 3 PAA Cold Spices SS Lubriderm Moisturizer PAA Cold Spices AS Splash Did I enjoy this shave? Not too much because first of all I gave myself a little weeper near my chin although it was definitely my fault. Second of all the Cold Spices soap and aftershave are not what they’re cracked up to be - as I’ve said before the menthol sort of spoils what is supposed to be the Shulton Old Spice scent that I love so much. Yes, the soap lathers well and it’s very slick but it’s not so skin friendly. The Lubriderm moisturizer saved the day for me and a quick touch of my styptic pencil healed the weeper right away. The Cold Spices aftershave went on with a good chill but the menthol got in the way of the scent. My wife said that it doesn’t suit me and I agree because there’s no place for menthol in the Shulton Old Spice. The only reason I’m using this garbage is because it was a birthday gift. Three passes gave me a great BBS shave so I shouldn’t complain too much. Enjoy your day my dear friends. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
