Excellent three pass shave this morning with the Snake Bite.

Today's shave was a 9/10 as I used dial 4, but moved up to dial 5. Yes, going up in dial from 4--5 helped as I got a nearly a BBS shave, the next level up. Today was Personna USA 100 pack from 2017, day 13 topside/total. I do flip the blade over around 14--16 and count the flipped side amount with also a total overall. With this blade Feeling like it might be day 15 for the flip

I used, as always, my H 2 or 1962 Gillette Adjustable 1960's era shaver without the case.

I shaved before the shower, so I did need to use water on my face due to skipping a day. I kept the blade/head of shaver wet as needed doing a better job than the day I had the cuts. I did not need a partial clean about 2/3 into the shave at 90% on just the blade and did a final full clean at the end of the shave but did some touch up on the moustache before doing the last of the cleaning.

 

It's a Fine shave for a fine gentlemen.

 

You're getting bolder and having more confidence in going to level 5 Xasey.

Joe, the Captain's Choice 45th Parallel sounds like it would be a nice product to try. If only I didn't already have about 20 years' worth of soap already stashed....

 

Yes, when it hits -30C and the wind starts blowing, I begin to imagine moving to somewhere warmer. But then I remember that we don't have hurricanes, typhoons, earthquakes, tidal waves or volcanoes here and that nobody has ever been bitten by a shark in Saskatchewan and that the deadliest venomous critters around here are occasional small rattlesnakes in an area about 400km south of where I live ... and suddenly a bit of mild cold doesn't seem such a bad trade-off...

 

Thanks, I even redid my moustache area wetting that down before shaving.

Wonderful shave this morning as we steadily try to deal with the snow pack and chill. Just right up Joe’s, @Trigger, alley.

Another fine three pass shave with the Gillette razor. Super smooth without any incidents.

Delightful Dickens shave Joe. I shopped Saturday night so that I had food for the next couple of days. Stayed home all day Sunday and didn't leave my house until 12:40 this afternoon to play Pinochle at the Senior Citizens Center.

Outstanding shave set up Joe. The Gillette slim twist was my first vintage DE razor kindly giving to me from a friend of my father. Pairs wonderfully with the GSB.
